What are you on about? Are all sonic fans crazy or something? It must be from the continuous loop of crap games that Sonic has churned out since day 1.
I admit, the new Sonic games are crap but the old ones were awesome. I'm a Sonic and a Mario fan but the new Mario games are way better than the new Sonic shit.

Mario's games can get a bit repetitive, and are way too easy. The whole 120 stars thing got old so long ago. He has good games but all he is, is in Hitler's case (it was a funny video) "That stupid fat ass plumber that keeps jumping on turtles" SEGA needs to stop making Sonic games and let the pro companies handle his future, he has potential.

Mario saved the universe by trying to save Peach, he then learns about Bowser's plan to take over the universe. He finds the power stars and finally stops Bowser and takes his girl, and saves the universe.

About time we got a decent Mario vs Sonic video. That human as Sonic vs lvl 1 cpu Mario shit was annoying. Those videos proved nothing except the makers were rabid fanboys. I have nothing against Sonic (other than the recent games -_-) but really human Sonic vs Cpu Mario or human Mario vs Cpu Sonic was just annoying and proved nothjng about how real fight would go with them. If Sakurai knew most people didn't use items, then he would have more time to develope characters and stages and such, what a Waste of a good feature for Smash! come on guys, use items.
im not sure how it is in brawl but in melee there were definitely characters who were just pound for pound better than others. its not random. i pitted CPUs against each other like this in "tournaments" NOT using the tournament mode (the tournament mode IS random if you just skip the matches) i just had the loser out and move on to the next set of characters. and EVERYTIME Ganondorf came out on top. Level 9 Ganandorf in Melee was the biggest challenge you could get behind a another human.
It does not matter who wins mario and sonic are equal-mario rocks and sonic rocks too,now we all have different opinions but lets just be thankful that two of the greatest heroes are in the most succssful and anticipated game ever!

OK, maybe it is pretty cheap to keep using Super Sonic, but Super Sonic is practically invincible.
As for a metal cap, those only last for about a minute.
Mario can outrun Mario by a loooong mile. He can keep out of Mario's way long enough for the effect to wear off.
Besides, Metal Mario just makes him slower.
There's not that big of a use for Metal Mario.
Mario is awesome, don't get me wrong, but Sonic is too powerful.

In the games, Mario can't take two power ups at once. But let's pretend he can.
"Golden Dot Sonic" is invincible, even faster, and can do a lot more.
If Super Sonic alone could destroy living water, then I think a big metal man is no problem.
And if Sonic had his magnet shield, he could attract metal Mario to the ground.
I'm not sure what good that is, but I thought I might mention it.
Sonic fights giant metal robots every game. Why Giant Metal Mario is no challenge.

Sonic can't constantly be holding emeralds. Where would he store them?
Well, Sonic can keep out of Mario's way long enough for the effect to stop working.
He moves at the speed of sound!
And Mario isn't that big in super mode anyways. He's in jumping distance.
Sonic can just leap up and kick Mario in his head a couple of times.

But SEGA gets pretty uncreative at times.
To help make every Sonic game different, they usually add a new power or something.
Nintendo is better about this, Id say.
Instead of forking over a new power, they put Mario into a new environment, giving new challenges based off of that instead of new moves.
Granted, Mario will get new power ups a lot, but they're never all that different than any of his other ones.

mage, tiny, fire, flying, boo, ice, invisible, invincible, metal, balloon, raccoon, cape, wing cap, etc.
but they're both cool and mario is a good jumper and sonic is a great runner

About time we got a decent Mario vs Sonic video. That human as Sonic vs lvl 1 cpu Mario shit was annoying. Those videos proved nothing except the makers were rabid fanboys. I have nothing against Sonic (other than the recent games -_-) but really human Sonic vs Cpu Mario or human Mario vs Cpu Sonic was just annoying and proved nothjng about how real fight would go with them. im not sure how it is in brawl but in melee there were definitely characters who were just pound for pound better than others. its not random. i pitted CPUs against each other like this in "tournaments" NOT using the tournament mode (the tournament mode IS random if you just skip the matches) i just had the loser out and move on to the next set of characters. and EVERYTIME Ganondorf came out on top. Level 9 Ganandorf in Melee was the biggest challenge you could get behind a another human.
