@USCisgay That sound from the start is so classic. And up on the pipe through the corners. I'm with you that is motocross. 4stroke used to have the sound of thunder class and they should stick to that. The 4 stroke is easier to ride in the sense you dont need to know how use a clutch.

Ahh man I use to race in the 80's and Bob Hannah was like a god to me. When he came out with his own clothing line HRP racing, in 82 I bought the whole outfit in Yamaha as I raced a YZ125 at the time,. I remember ordering it from California and when it came in the mail, I lived in Ont Canada it was so incredible opening that huge box and seeing all that HRP clothing, pants, jersey, gloves, body armour etc. Ah man tose were great times, you da man BOB, you da man!
i honestly think bob hannah was the way he was because is just about 1% mentally retarded.... just enough to make him hold the throttle on a bit longer, in all situations.

I remember watching all these races as a teenager in the 80's - I would have all the guys over to my house Saturday afternoons just to watch these races! Then we would try to emulate them (on our 2-stroke 80s) on the little track we built in our development.
