@DiasdDesign could you post a tutorial on how you start a project like this. im no good at photoshop, but im quite familiarised with the tools now. could you make some tut's, or if you have no time, could you point me in the direction of some good tut vids, or vids that you learnt from? cheers.

Ya, i agree with having separate layers but having too many layers kinda frustrating and the file i think its going to be large. I am learning to cut down the layers but certain adjustments in the future will be difficult. Hmm.....

please please please please could you explain how you do your colour overlays and masking. do you use hundreads of different layers or are you simply earasing all the excess ? and another thing how do u get the clean edges ? if you could respond to this it would be great cheeers , this car is mind-blowing !!!!

@garradnholdy Thanks. My technique changed a bit. When I did this video I was using more layers, 15 or 20, now I only use 1 or two. To get clean edges you can use the path tool or if you're using a graphic tablet like me you can do it by hand. You just need to practice until you're good enough.

Its still recommended to use separate layers though. Its easier when clients want some adjustments

@Capeau @ryovan With time you'll learn to deal with few layers. I deal with clients and before I jump to final renders I always discuss deep with them about what they want to achieve. Make small thumbnails and color studies etc etc. When you start the final render you don't need 100 layers because you already know what you want to do.

Do you do the perspective fom bottom or do you use an other car for the angle and such?

@makemespin Everything is made from scratch and no references used. Normally I make a quick doodle on paper, then I scan it and clean the lines in Photoshop.
