Every song made to date is possible to beat with a standard controller, and One is definitely not the toughest. I'd know, I myself have beaten every song to date on standard controller. I've actually 5*ed this song. You make playing with a standard controller seem WAY harder than it is.

The parts i have trouble with this song using the xbox 360 controller are darkness and the part after the solo! they are so hard i always fail at darkness... I beat cliffs pretty easilly though. if anyone wants to face me using the xbox controllers message me my GT is Badfest.

I play on controller and can do it without no fail and star power until 5:50 part. I use star power there and play this easily(on HARD) i never tried on expert. I'll do it and make a vid(if i play nice).

When you are playing 6:13-6:15 on the dualshock, the key is light fingers. You must gently but quickly press the button before the next one, otherwise you'll miss it because of the bullshit HO/POs in GH3.

To practice, try FCing ("Full Combo"-ing) an easier song. Try to obtain 5* on many songs possible. That way, you can practice and get prepared for the transition to hard. Believe me, you'll get really frustrated with the orange fret.

They both have their difficulties. On guitar, the solos are tough you if you're not good enough. On a controller, quick strumming notes totally destroy your fingers.

On GH2 I may have said that the guitar is harder, because you could hold a higher note snd still play a lower note or a chord; but I'll have to take it back because of the new way to play with controller in GH3; it resembles the actual guitar.

So, shortly, both are equally tough, to my opinion.
