Hi Risa. First of all I want to tell you that I love all of your tutorials; watching them has helped me improve my own personal style. I was wondering if you could perhaps do a quick video on brushes. What are some essentials any person, beginners or experts, should own? Which bristles are better, animal or synthetic? Do you have any recommendations for brands? Thank you for your time and I hope you are having a lovely week.
Can you please do a tutorial on how to do your foundation with freckles? I have freckles, and when I wear foundation they look faded, I don't like how it looks.
that tutorial will have to wait until it's sunnier here and I have more freckles. But basically I can tell you - don't cover your face with foundation. There's no need. Only use it in areas you absolutely need coverage (most people need it under the eyes, sides in the nose and perhaps in the T zone. The great thing about freckles is that scars or blemishes aren't as noticable so why even wear foundation?
Oh okay! Yes, I know what you mean about how they aren't as noticeable. I love my freckles, and I don't want them to look faded when wearing foundation.
I'm so totally ocd about my make-up too!! I'm always going back n fourth and fixing and adding. You rock girl. I love your tutorials and how you talk to us and your so "real" like how you improvise with what you just happen to have in your make up bag. You're awesome!
for lashes I always thought it was good to put a line of glue on your hand and dip the lash in it. I'm gonna go watch your eyelash video tho and see how you do it :P
Whatever works for you, do it! I just find that if you practice to do it the way I reccomended, you'll waste far less glue since only a small amount is required per lash application.
I use the Equate makeup remover/cleanser wipes from WalMart. I get a humungo double pack for like $7. I felt like they were very similar to the Pond's wipes (which I had used before that). Great video!
