I hope Dragon Age 3 to look at least half good as this trailer and bring Morrigan back. Because Dragon Age 2 cartoonish style was horrible in the most terrible way and Bioware did a bad job. Anyway, Dragon Age Origins was almost perfect and a great RPG. We want the role of the Grey Wardens to be more important in DA 3.

What made Dragon Age: Origins so good is that it was an actual RPG, who focused on your character and your companions ALOT, and it was an open world game. Your actions had consequences, and you did have to make some tough deciscions in my opinion.

Dragon Age 2 did that quite less and focused more on the combat system, Which is not a bad thing, but it shouldnt harm other elements in the game which it did as we all saw. Also the whole game took place in 1 fucking city.

@Joricky12 All of what you said was right expect one thing. Dragon age origins aint an open world game, an open world game is like morrowind, skyrim and gothic. Dragon age is like mass effect in the term of gameplay, in missions you go from point a to point b and on the way there you get some side rooms to loot and than have a hub or a city were you go to explore sell loot and such. All bioware have this formula even in the story progression since Star war knights of the old republic.

Why DA2 Suck: In origins you could choose your character, and have a taste of your choice in the quest line. In GA2 you are stuck in a full linear gameplay, and the choices given, matter little. In origins i could make my city elven rogue with dual weapons, be a badass tank, and deadly fighter. In DA2 i had the same human, and little more than 3 choices...tryed to do the same, and mix things, no good...In origins the boss fight was exiting, in dragon age 2 i had to ran the whole room to win..

@FleaCalado Dude...you are so lost...1st of all why argue on such an old video and second...by the way you describe DA 2 , either you nefver played the game or u just ran throught it by only doing main quest because its not linear at all and the fact that you cant create your own character isnt bad , it goes with the story. And you can still play the way you cwant your character to be , you just cant be as overpower as in the first one , which is a very good thing.

@ImNiightmare Quite wrong. i allways like to do everthing that is possible in the game, and more than one gameplays, just to know how my choices will change things. I don't have the info about DA2 anymore, but i can use skyrim as a example. over 120 hours of gameplay, 102 quests complets, and only 11 is in the main quest. And 273 misc objectives complete. DA2 has way less things to do, but i did everthing. And was pretty linear.

Im playing Skyrim too at the moment and im 100hrs of gameplay , i understand your point but i still think DA2 is not linear ,it may seem linear because the story isnt told the same way as in the 1st one. DA2 is great even though it doesnt live up to the 1st one.

@ImNiightmare That was my point, origins was awesome, and because of it, the hopes to DA2 was very high. And we saw the results. Because of that, the hopes to DA3 is quite low now. I'll buy only because they might learn about the DA2 mistakes, and bioware is a hell of a good name. Lets see how they go.

I would even say that DA2 is better ... DA1 isn't that good at all actually. well, they both have their flaws and few good points too. one of the problems with origins is that there is no challenge at all. even though the battle system is better than in DA2, you don't need to use any tactics as you can just stroll trough the game in nightmare with any class or build

I've played a lot of RPG's in my life both J-RPG and Western ones ...they all had their moments but THIS is the only game that I really Felt i was part of the game Both the story and the characters was so Awesome..DA2 was...Different, I liked it but I think they could have done a better Job it felt like it was a bit Unfinished Mostly the quests were revolving around the city and you couldn't visit many Different areas Like in DA:O..also the story was very short and it had fewer side quests too.

@Dertheante true, NWN 2 had a better story line and twists at the end, more entertaining than DA2. DAO is unbeatable, unfortunately i think Bioware made their masterpiece in DAO and future games might be great but will stay in the shadow of DAO. i hope i am wrong

I could almost agree with you, but "Aedan Cousland" sounds too gay. I ALWAYS change his name, just like in 2, I refuse to be named "Garret." The Human Noble is "(enter name here) Cousland" but yes I do agree that he is THE Warden.

But still, especially how it sinks into the Awakening storyline with Nathan Howe, where there is tension between you, yet he becomes your companion, and all that... It just works all round. Second best, to me? Probably City Elf storyline. Soris and 'Darrian' (the Warden) attacking the Arl's castle, and referring to them later. But realistically, an elf int he landsmeet would not be appropriate... Hail Arl Cousland!

That is one aspect I do love about the Human Noble, his relationship to Nathan Howe. Also Cousland is the only one with the right to kill Rendon Howe, I really like how much more personal killing him is as Cousland. And I do like the City Elf one as well. Honestly I like all the Origins, but the Human Noble is my favorite.

The cool thing about the Human Mage, is he's the cousin of the characters in DA2.

I personally don't like Playing a character named Aedan though, that's just me.

Saying that the name Aedan is gay is a little too harsh, so I apologize. I don't really think it's gay, but I don't like the sound of it that much.

When I play a human character in rpgs I usually give them a form of my own name, like my Mage is named Millevard, lol. It just sounds like a great name for a Mage. Of course I don't call my warrior/rogue that but I use some form of Millege, which actually is my given name.
