Yeah most young "political" folk are fucktard liberals, fucktard conservatives (although they gravitate towards fucktard liberals) and fucktard psuedo-leftists.
Of course this can be said about a lot of older folks, but you see younger people more so it's more annoying.
His cabinet supported torture and admitted to committing it. Bush and Cheney never saw jail time for their decision to approve of torture, even though it opposes the Geneva Convention.
I wouldn't call it ignorant to hate a warmongering tyrant. I would call that, good parenting.
Look at me I'm so awesome, I have working knowledge of quantum mechanics? is that a valid reason to be as you so put it, "cool" also I loved bush..... Bazinga, one of my many classic practical jokes.
way i view it is... dont blame bush. blame congress. because in all reality our country is run as an oligarchy. that oligarchy is the congress. they make all the decisions not the president. the president actually has no real power. i mean yeah hes the president but his word means nothing. if the congress wants something passed and he vetoes it then they just pass it again. its not like if they had two thirds votes before that its going to change. they have the power not him
I disagree. I will agree that the real moving power of the government lies within the legislative branch, but the power the president has is gargantuan. He can undo anything congress does, and has shown in the past to be able to do things he shouldn't be able to do without the aid of congress (such as go to war). That goes without mentioning the countless government programs that have been created by the executive branch ever since the time of FDR. The president is by no means dwarfed.
@AssholePatrol but if he wants to do something such as goto war, he has to go through congress does he not? which goes back to what i said, congress is americas main source of power. no decisions can be made without them.
@ixdor94 While other Presidents have done it, BO has shown just how irrelevant the two Houses are. Like nazi palosi said, if we cant pass it, we will go over it, under, parachute.... whatever. I understand that what you are saying is in principle, based on the Constitution. Reality however can not be ignored.
Well said AP! I wasn't the biggest fan of Bush, but to me politics is ALWAYS about the lesser of two evils. After two years of Obama now, I guess a lot of people DON'T think they're any better off VS when Bush was in office. They showed their anger at the last election. But I guarantee when the Republicans don't do squat, voters will shift back to the Dems, it's nothing more than a BS game. But you're right, most teenagers don't have a clue, and just bitch to bitch, I know I did back then.
that is true... he is not our president... maybe this person was celebrating like YES HE'S NOT OUR PRESIDENT ANYMORE by wearing it on a slightly misleading shirt... idk there's two sides of the fence there...
LOL so you went from being a fanboy of being a brush hater to someone who's well informed with an intelligent opinion. Great job man, I've been getting more into politics and government lately somewhat. This video shows why I don't like someone agreeing/disagreeing because they like/dislike a person. :D
i know exactly what you mean, everybody just hated bush because it was the popular thing to do.
