Itr's true - Manson's originals are so exceptionally good but the covers are usually mediocre (Sweet Dreams being the outstanding exception)- strange - most bands can't write good originals but can fake a good cover easily enough. Manson is strange.

What's interesting about her is that like David Lynch, whom she wants to work with, she is a person who works with things that are normally taken to be 'dark', yet she actually seems more healthy, natural and creative than most people. Maybe she has a really twisted side, but she mostly just comes across as sweet, very smart, and far more attractive as a complete package than what normally goes by the name of female beauty. Better than 1,000 dead-eyed clothes-horses.
