I don't know how important of a factor it is to him, but at Uconn, he could get playing time right away. If he adds additional bulk, he is projected as a DE by many top analysts. Yes, there are programs with more history than Uconn, but if he is looking for immediate playing time, that could affect his decision because I bet Uconn, more so than the other programs can offer him this at DE.

UCONN and football, how can anyone say that in the same line. Come back and talk after a lifetime of success. One bad year or decades of futility. Isn't UCONN a farm team for the big schools, getting our left overs. How bad is UCONN, their best player can't start for the Detroit Lions. One of our so-so qb's is a MVP for your regions pro entry the Patriots.

He's taking an official visit to UCONN this weekend. The fact that they're up there with the likes of LSU, Michigan, Bama, Oklahoma, etc. should say a lot about what he thinks of the coaches. As far as his visit, UCONN has some of the best facilities in the country and he'll be there for a Big East bball game. Lookin' good for the Huskies.

Great recruiting class for UCONN, ranked 71 and that is after a good year on the field. Wow. Welcome to the elite. Most schools think in terms of the top ten and the top twenty five, not the top seventy five. Your right, Mingo likes basketball and he will thank you for the game and then pick from LSU, Bama, the Sooners and MICHIGAN.

I guess what you're saying is kind of like saying that St. John's has a better basketball team than UCONN because they've got a better history. And the fact that he is taking an official visit to UCONN this weekend and none to Michigan should make you feel truly terrible about our joke of a football team.

More players choose Michigan just because it is Michigan. Never heard that about Uconn football. He could come to play at the Big House, or in ???? Go Blue!

Yeah, it is great right. I mean we've been D-1 for how many years now? And you know what's funny, you've had great recruiting classes for years and you guys still sucked last season. Edsall has this great ability to find diamonds in the rough. Donald Brown wasnt a top recruit, Darius Butler wasn't a top recruit, Cody Brown wasn't a top recruit, Scott Lutrus wasn't a top recruit, but guess what, they're great players. BTW, it was an amazing atmosphere tonight and his brother runs track at uconn.
