Thank you so much for doing actually doing justice to Dan! I believe that Dan is the best singer/songwriter solo act in all of history! His songs are timeless, written and performed with such enchanting passion and depth of understanding. He brought heaven to earth!

You are very talented and seem to understand this technology I grew up without during the 60's and 70's! wonderful tribute! Dan's been my absolute favorite artist since I was 11 (1976) and will continue to be until I die. I'm still so saddened when I think of his death and thank God that his music will live forever...thank you for putting this together!

What a tribute to a man who knew music. My heart sank when I heard about his passing. I  was introduced to his music when I was 10. Now my children is listening to his music. He wrote music from his heart and life experiences. I cry everytime I listen to the " Innocent Age " for the reason that I lived some of the songs. I could go on and on. I will end by saying this. I have been a fan of Dan Folgelberg for over 30 years. His transition is a great loss however he will always be remembered in his music. It is because of him I became a singer/songerwriter.

Only someone as gifted with words as Dan was would be able to respond to this video in a way that would do it justice! I have adored Dan and been enchanted by him since the beginning of his career and this video is by far the best I have seen at capturing the essence of Dan, his inexplicable magic and mysticism that only he could express in terms that lifted all of us up to stand by his side and share his mystical, enchanting and euphoric music which was his way of bringing God's love to earth.

I have recently lost my own son at the age of 26 and this has been the most unbelievable thing that has happened thus far. BG, I rarely comment, but must say this is by far the most magnificent tribute I have ever seen online. Profoundly well done... I lived a somewhat similar life in MT for 10 years and loved Dan's music from the beginning. His multitude of fans in Missoula were greatly disheartened in '83 when he came there alone and seemed more than a bit condescending to them. He MORE than made up for that when I was privileged to attend another solo session here in Lake Tahoe in '97. Godspeed, brother..

Its such a strange feeling to think of Dan gone...I have never felt the way I do about someone I never actually met, although I did fequent his concerts which were never a let down! Always awesome! With his passing I really feel like a piece is missing and we have lost a treasure that doesnt exist anywhere else on earth.

What a beautiful tribute. Can't imagine Dan and Colorado without the other.Makes me sad, that he put his ranch on the market in 2005. I believe it's still on the market, for a cool $15 million. I hope whoever buys it, will love the land, as much as Dan did. I wonder if Jean will stay in the new home in Maine? It's all to sad. Hello again beggarsgame. Like The Last Nail, I keep returning to this tribute which is by far the best one. It really is a memorial and a place where we can contemplate the many beautiful songs and lyrics that Dan shared with the world. Dan was truly someone who rose above the trappings of wealth and maintained a love for his mid-western values. He was an astute observer of the human spririt and so beautifully documented those feelings in his songs. He will live in our heart Ever On.
