@BeAySeS - Yep he is amazing looking now that he has grown. I think he was somewhere around $900?? IDK, but I should (knock on wood) have some vanillas hatching this season (the heterozygous form of the super vanilla) that won't be as pricey. Thank you!

Thank you, he is the result of breeding a vanilla to a vanilla.

Vanilla is a co-dom morph that originated in the wild, nothing makes it.

Cool, they are pretty affordable too, but make sure you always go by the quality of the animal and breeder and not lowest price you can find.

I know. I have a brother who learnt that the hard way. He bought a pastel (or atleast what seemed to be, he was new at reptiles) from an unknown breeder and it died in about a month. Now he sticks to known breeders such as BHB and 8Ball Pythons.

Sorry that happened, and also don't forget about the many smaller, but reputable breeders like us who work hard to produce quality animals and not just huge quantities of them.

Vanillas? Well, hopefully I will next year, but I probably won't have any this year because he is still young. If you are looking for a vanilla now though I would certainly contact Tracy Barker at VPI, she's great and has great vanillas.

Well there is a reptile expo this weeked on Sunday in White Plains. I'll probably look for one there.

Do you know if VPI will be their? I strongly recommend them, but I'm sure there will be other good breeders there too.
