  • In other countries they dont value dogs like american whats sad is how those americans how wanted to poisen n kick puppies n eventually kill did not value the therphy those puppies gave to thosr soliders. R.I.P. puppies

  • Alot of people in the military just join to kill. Much like your Staff Sargent.Im Joining to Protect.

Thats bullshit how you cant keep a few dogs on base. Its like they want you to go crazy.

Im joining the Marine Corps as a MP in the k-9 unit so I can have a dog. Its weird but I would feel safer...

  • Thats awful...the part after I heard one ran behind one of the u.s. Soldiers made me cry...

  • Yes, lets kill the things that bring some sort of peace to an otherwise fucked up world. Nice. Humanity at it's best right here.

  • I cried :'(

  • What i don't understand it WHY in HELL this isn't getting out to the mainstream news media? My daughter is in Afghanistan and reported back that the soldiers at FOB FIAZ were ordered to slaughter all their dogs and if they didn't do as ordered, they were threatened with an Article 15! And the asshole commanders wonder WHY our soldiers are committing suicides at such a high rate! What can we do to stop this? What have you been able to do? Would like to hear more on this...

  • Your story is so true..the dogs were not health hazard. War is so cruel...

  • Thank you for posting this as sad and horrific as it is. It shows the difference in humanity on the same fronts. The monster who ordered the killing of these poor pups and good people like you who tried their best to care for them. Thank you!

  • thats a sin y the fuck would they do that look how sweet they are pour things :"( thisitreally hard to watch

  • That's fucked up! At least the 2 pups where happy evan tho it was 4 only a short time...

  • The relationship between man & dog is debatable, but it's estimated to reach back 10's of thousands of years. There's good reason(s) as to why this relationship has stood the test of time. Literally. I'm disgusted by any (& all) of your superiors who didn't stand up for what was right. There is law. And then there is right. Some men can not tell the difference...apparently.

  • this made me cry

  • Pets actually help keep people healthy!! Lower blood pressure just from petting them, reduce work stress... That's crazy. I love dogs. This is so sad!

  • that so sad im a hugdog lover some peporile are just dome

  • i feel sooo sorry for you, fuck the people who think they are health hazards, you were getting them taken care of and everything, those higher ups of your desereve to be shot just as the dogs, again i am soooo sorry for your losses, they were cute.

  • Awe

  • awwww omg thats sick as hell, they r so cute, they were loved even if it was for a short time so theres something to be happy about but still that brought a tear to my eye

  • wow that is just not right just let them live a happy life

  • wow that is just not right

  • i cant believe they made you guys get rid of them.... poor things

  • You get me some names, I will see them suffer mentally for this outrage. Seriousley, I have 36 years in the Navy and this really pisses me off.

  • @JudischerWolfsmench At the time the Battalion Commander was a Lt. Col. His names is Patrick Donahoe.

  • @CaseyJPorter Thank you. 36 years as a Navy Doc and this is the biggest outrage I have seen. Dog's are cleaner than we are, and are a morale booster. I love my Marines, but this guy is a douche bag.

  • @JudischerWolfsmench Donahoe is Army, just so you know. Last I heard he was at Ft. Irwin, California. But he may be at the Pentagon now.

  • That is truly a shame. How are the dogs "health hazards?" I would think things going boom around me would be a health hazard and likely to do more harm than some puppies that are making soldiers feel good and giving them some comfort. Maybe that is what command was considering a "health hazard," was the fact that the pups were a morale booster for the troops and helped them forget some of the horrors that they might have seen.

Some of the pups have saved the lives of those that showed them love.

  • god thay look like my dog

  • Don't feel too bad i mean you already gave the dogs a home they could have ever gotten in their life. It's kind hearts like yours and other soldiers who take their time and do this are truly worthy of being called a "HERO". Not only do you protect our country, hopefully the civilians in Irap, and you also think about the little animals like these. Hope you find another dog and be able to send here.

  • THATS SOME BULLSHIT fuckin sad ass shit dude.. man that pisses me off..

  • So horrbly sad. I just learnd the story of the one of the few lucky dogs, Nubs. Animal abusers deserve to suffer!

  • oh that is bull shit i would have shot the iraqi army guys and gone awal idgaf how bad it is u dont do that to my dogs

  • so horrible :( May the two sisters be at peace :(

  • you don't get to be a Sargent major being kind hearted most would kill their own mother if the mission demanded it. that Sargent Major is a great additions to Bush/Obama's new world order.

  • Yes, war is dehumanizing but when you get to the point where you want to shoot an innocent little puppy for "fun" then you've crossed the boundary of civilization and become a vicious "thing," nothing more. I can only hope that the NCO who ordered the death of those dogs and the assholes who killed them all got their asses blown off in Iraq soon afterward.

  • u should just shot the guy that was draging the dog and take the dogs and run

  • Not every story is meant to end happily. I appreciate the time and effort you put into bringing us a story from the frontlines. Thank you.

  • Comment removed

  • its just sad init, how them puppies trusted them marines, thought they was loved, they was by the ones that took them in, but havin other soilders kill them iz just so sad. they dint need to kill them? wtf the ones who shot them are no better than the people who throw stones at dogs and tortour them.

  • and yes, im so freaking PO ! how the hell this stupid policy going to boost our troops moral? someone upthere in the Pentagon gotta talk a good look at this Vid and pull their heads out of their AS !

  • im not a perfect or greatly good human been but i cried, humans do betrayed humans but Dogs never will !

  • poor puppies... u did all u could

  • On wonder there are peple out there in the world that are not people persons.

  • That's a very tragic story, no words can truly express how sad that is. I'm sory for you and those pupps.

  • sad man ;-(

  • type-o i mean the sad storys of war

  • the sad storys or war..sends pain though the bones

  • we had the luck of having one of these so called "health hazard dogs" our JSS . she was born there , so says the unit we replaced. On our first patrol ( a foot patrol in our new AO) to find a lost drone she went with us every step of the way. on that patrol one of our new Pvts managed to wonder away from the squad. after 45 mins we were unable to find him. we thought the worst. but that dog came running back to us , with our pvt right behind her. that dog got that man back to the squad. NS

  • @Acclamator55 Great story dude. Really good stuff.

  • P.S. Marine corp wouldnt be suck dicks about it

  • Christ! I wonder just who is loyal to who?

  • aww thats soo sad. poor puppies. they were adorable.. i'm sorry to hear that they were killed. :(

  • that is so cruel how could any 1 taking orders or not let that happen?that is so cruel.i hope the people involved in this burn in hell

  • The military often does stupid, incomprehensible things. The sergeants & commander wanted to create a culture of cruelty. Stupid & cruel; it doesn't get much lower than that.

  • man i fucking hate tis fucking world fucking shoot the person who killed them. i would love to shoot that mother fucker.

  • The silver lining is that those pups got to know love even if it was for a short time. And I'm sure they really boosted the mens moral whilst they were there. Those are things that no one can take away from you.

Check out my video, I'm sure you'd like it... Amazing dog story... was very hit and miss for a while but watch it and see the outcome

  • Health Hazords? They dont have mage or anything. I cant belive that. Who said they were a health threat?

  • you should have punched that seargent in the face I dont care if i got court marshalled atleast you still have your respect. Alot of shit happens out there that the devil himself wouldnt do yet everyone goes along with it because of authority well fuck authority!

  • i cried when you said that

  • I wouldn't allow the Iraqi army to take those dogs away, I'd rather be court marshaled, and kicked out then rather have the dogs shot for a reason that was not even true..

  • I'm glad you mentioned names,so others can know what pieces of shit they are. It's sad to see we have these scumbags in our armed forces. It's nice to know there are people like you who are willing to care for these animals. I definitely would've gotten in trouble cuz if someone tried to do that to my dog, I would've raised my gun or punched them in the face. I'm glad others were successful bringing dogs home, giving a big FU to jerkoffs like Hill&Donahoe. If anyone should be shot,it's them.

  • when i look at the puppies faces i must cry so hard!

  • tey look so cute how could they shoot them!!?? fucking war u make our mind freak out!

  • if a fucking IRAQI GAURD UNIT DARED TOUCH MY DOG I WOULD FUCKING BEHEAD HIM IN FRONT OF MY COMMANDING OFFICER I WOULD MAKE IT KNOWN U TOUCH THAT DOG IM GOING TO SHOOT U HOW COME U GUYS DIDENT MAKE THAT KNOWN WHY DID U LET THEM SHOOT THE DOGS........i support the troops but if it were me i would have killed both the men trying t take the dogs and i would have made the one who shot the dogs suffer..its a fucking health hazzered it rasies moral no moral is a health hazzard. troops protect them to..

  • Dude I love dogs and all but that just sounds crazy to be willing to kill a human, yes a scumbag dog killer, but a human no less.

  • yes i would serve my time for my dogs u hurt a defenseless animal ur gona die. i hope those iraqi fucks bite the dust cuz if they dident im gona kill em. and all the dogs r treated like shit by the iraqi guard i would have lit them the fuck up andi know my men would follow me bec all marines arelike that

  • What about the Marine that threw the puppy off the cliff? I think that blows several holes in the "all Marines love dogs theory", but that's beside the point. I love dogs. I think it is wrong to inhumanly murder them for any reason. However I also believe that human life has more value then any other life form we have yet to discover. Therefor, I would never condone murdering humans that murder dogs. Plus there are far greater outrages you should have against the ING or IA than dog murder.

  • um that was one marine and he was a fuckin nut it was the marines or jail i heard and he got his ass beat by his platoon i also heard it was fake. and i hate the human race all we do is take and take and destroy but it benifits no one

  • Yes they probably did beat his ass for being stupid enough video that because he was a LCPL and that meant his whole chain of command probably got shit on. If you are or were a Marine then you know that shit has a tendency to roll down hill... I hope you get my point. But the idea that that was a singular incident is ludicrous. Also you seem to have a somewhat skewed view of the world. Much of what we take from the earth in resources is used and benefits the human race. cont.

  • Trees cut down for lumber build homes and make paper products that you use everyday. Coal is used to provide electricity, which happens to be powering your ability to be reading this. Oil and gas provide the fuel for heating homes, cooking food, and transportation. Water damned provides water reservoirs for arid areas and water for irrigation and agriculture. Not to mention all the other things like books, clothing, medicine ect, ect. We use the resources as a result of civilization. cont.

  • Don't think that this is as good as it gets. The technology of today provides the foundation for future innovation. Don't you think people in the dark ages thought the world was pretty shitty. Its going to get better, and sometimes its going to get worst, but what it all comes down to devil, is how you look at the world. My advice to you is to adopt a cool dog and smoke a joint. If that doesn't work smoke more as needed. If thirst sets in apply beer to affected area. Then go get laid.

  • answer me this tho if humans werent around how many species would be endangered. i dont have a skewered view i just dont think that humans in genreal think

  • "i hate the human race all we do is take and take and destroy but it benifits no one"

Yes that is skewed. Its like saying all black people dance better or all Asians do math better. They're generalizations. Has our civilization endangered and killed off other species? Yes, but we have also saved species from extinction like. the California condor. Humans causing extinctions is also nothing new. Native Americans wiped out the Woolly Mammoth and Horses from the Americas.cont.

  • Maoris in New Zealand killed off the Giant Kiwi. But you know what has killed and wiped out more species then all of humanity... mother nature herself and time. I think many more humans think then you give credit for. Thinking on ways to improve our lives, improve our technologies, and to allow us to live in a way that minimizes the impact on our environment. Also humanity has never had a population or sophistication level this high, so there is going to be a slight learning curve.

  • and its for mother nature to decide. i under stand i have a unique point of view but skewed is if i wanted all humanity to die i just want us to find solutions to every thing. one day we will find out that before we started doin the stupid shit we did that we would have had peace. one day some dumb ass is gona start ww3 and not animals but humans will destroy the world u tell me thats skewed when puttin got his finger on the fuck u button and we got our on the same.

  • Mother nature did decide. Humans are just animals too. We're are just more technologically complex then all of the rest. We are the top of the food chain through our size, strength, and intelligence. You're freaked out about a situation you have absolutely no control over. Lighten up, watch less news. Anyway, a natural disaster is much more likely going to be our demise. All it takes is a 1 degree change in the earths axis and the entire earths environment changes. Its happened before.

  • no untill i see a gray hound build a car or a hawk cut down a tree im not gona believe it. and if that does happen no matter what if dinosaurs return what ever we will just evolve and we will still be top of the food chain.

  • A single beaver dam can alter acres of land around it. Ants and termites build complex nests that can become so large and over populated that it strips the land of plant and animal life for a 1/2 mile around it. Before we settled the Great Plains of N America huge herds of buffalo literally plowed tracts of land with their hooves and created micro weather climates with their body heat and methane production. Don't tell me we are the only ones altering the environment.

  • but not majorly and i read that like a poem in the begining if u stuck wit it it would have been good ; )

  • omg i fought that was really gd of ur to take care of them i cant stop crying i dont no why they shoot them :(

  • wow ur an amazing person i to love animals and hope 2 join the army(canadian forces since im canadian) im sorry 2 hear what happened i hope u come home safe thats terrible ppl who would do that helpless dogs shouldnt be in charge of ppls lives. a sick world we live in eh. well ur an amazing person glad theres still some good ppl out there hope u come home safe

  • If my 1SG ever gave that order, I would kill him. Maybe not immediately, but he would PAY. I would never forget it and I wouldn't forgive either.

You can hang me later. I really don't care.

The only thing wrong with the ARMY are the high NCO's.

    Peace, privates.

  • My First Sgt was a great man. He was not to blame. I just want to be clear on that point.

  • I was in your unit in Iraq (scout platoon). Im pretty sure that 1SG that wanted to poison them was ours, Hendricks. He was a coward and almost never left the gate unless it was to go to BIAP to buy stuff, so to pass the time he went around on the fob "hunting" strays, by the way I think he got a silver star for that tour. Im sickened but not surprised our higher ups treated those animals like that.

  • How is it that such sick individuals attained such high rank? Only those with no gonads would be that brutal and unfeeling about either animals or people.

Those so-called leaders (bullies in reality) should've realized that healthy men with poor morale would probably be less likely to survive than sick men with great morale. battle anyway.

Seems to me they were really working for the other side. Surely respectable forces would kick them out.

  • Some Lieutenant Colonel that was. Heartless. Same with the Sgt Major. Anyone who kills or abuses animals for amusement is extremely sick and dangerous. People who have no compassion for animals generally don't have any for people either. It would benefit society overall to get rid of such people. It's those types who keep wars going on for an eternity.

  • Sorry that hurts

  • glad you have the compassion for two dogs but save some of it for all the civilian deaths in Iraq, one million and counting! Or for the ethnic cleansing of the starved Gaza strip prison. The attitude that wanted to torture and kill these dogs is the same as that focused on people of brown skin tones.

uruknet has photos of the new holocaust

  • i cant stop crying (shit my keboard is getting wet)

  • @mugenhelper123 ikr maan thats some bull why they have to kill them

  • wow that is fucking bullshit, your chain of command should be punished our Sgt Major helped pay for two dogs we rescued to be sent back to the states and he had to fight the army MPs to make it happen, however after having the army shoot at marine units because they were too incompetent to distinguish between vehicles at night the MPs new better than to come to our ground and take our dogs. Chow and Libo are now living in california with the family of one of our marines

  • It's Marines and Soldiers like you and your CSM that give us a good name. Thanks for posting.

  • this is so sad even though it is actually one step to saving these homeless puppies in iraq

  • this video made me cry so hard. whoever is cruel to animals needs to be killed. no lie.

  • Great video. Those two beautiful dogs deserved to live! It is hard for me to understand human cruelty to man's best friends.

  • Casey,ye story has me heart breaking and I'm thankful to ye for sharing this dreadful story but it did need to be said,ye have a heart of a Lion lad, wish there were more like ye there,I've seen too many stories of our own soldiers abusing animals, sometimes I don't think I can keep supporting our soldiers anymore until I see one such as yeself whose heart has compassion for the voiceless, just know the wee puppies are @ Rainbow Bridge and they will be there to greet ye when it's ye time!

  • And let's all pray that time doesn't come too soon - for all the good soldiers who are there ! I am sure those two little puppies aren't hanging about on rainbow bridge, I bet they will be walking beside you, the wonderful man who loved and cared for them in life, now guiding and protecting you! Casey, you have two wonderful little guardian angels there with you who thank you for all you did for them.

  • jamie2628-I can imagine what hell these men had to endure when these pups, who were already starting to protect their friends, felt. What kind of a commander would order these sweethearts, giving unconditional love, to be destroyed. Shame on him.

  • Shame on him it will be - laws need changing and if war isn't cruel enough we hear so many stories like this - thank God these little puppies knew some love at least before their lives were snuffed out. I will continue to work with those who want to change these crazy and cruel rules !

  • jamie2628-To cvfa-thanks for contacting me on my comment. Looks like you and I share the same feeling on this situation. I liked the courage of the marine when he insisted to his Sargeant the guys would not get rid of these helpless creatures. Like I said, the BIG MAN was wrong, AND THE PUPS BOOSTED THE MORALE. WHAT the heck is so wrong about this?

  • I have 2 dogs, and this story made me cry. I hope you boys come home safely... You deserve better than this.

  • Thank you for leaving all the comments on my various films.

  • Learn the English language, then use it.

  • thanks for sharing the story, I love animals, and hope to become a U.S. Marine, but i definately hope i dont have to come accross a situation like this where they will tke the pups away and kill them. Thats what would make me a better soldier, it would push me to the limit knowing that i was fighting for whats right and for my love to animals. Thank you for your service to the country!!!

  • As a Marine, the killing of dogs will be the least of things you will end up regretting. I am not bashing The Corps, but I, and so many others, live with a lot of regret. Why do you want to join right now? During this time of war?

  • Hating on his chain of command? It's called being a good person, obviously Casey is one, this video makes sure of it.

  • Dude! Thanks for the complement.

  • damn sad ass story man it really sucks what happened

  • god bless you guys

  • srry for your loss.

    it was unnecessary...

  • Thank you for sharing your story. The atrocities of Bush's war have no boundaries.

Take comfort in the fact that you gave those dogs good lives and that they new you. You blessed them and now their in heaven.

  • True or not, it was a good video. My brother, a Marine in Iraq found a puppy while on patrol, he played with it for a short while but later had to leave it behind but not before him and other Marines created a small shelter for it with food and water. Later my brother while on patrol found his way back to the location of the dog that he and his friends found (it is not clear to me if this was a day later or a week later as he did not tell me) and the dog was dead. It had been shot by someone.

  • We did try using our chain of command, and they where getting medical treatment. Did you not pay attention? Nice name, would you even know what a Spartan was if they didn't make a movie about it? Tell me, are you on my FOB right now?

  • FiftyalSpartan, your the sort of solider that helps the US loose wars

  • your comment doesnt even make sence. Go play in Traffic

  • People like you, make me sick.

  • All dogs go to heaven! Best to you Casey!

  • The biggest health hazard to our soldiers is the US government and their policies.

  • it really makes you wonder if there's any hope for humanity at all. how could you hurt such cute, innocent, and defenseless animals?

  • Theres the saying,"Real men are kind to animals". Bless your brave heart and mind.

  • Thankfully there are people like you who care. For their brief lives these puppies knew human beings as friends, then evil won over kindness. I'm so sorry you couldn't save them, you tried your best and your good deed will resonate. I hope people will learn from your example of compassion & maybe the military will one day make changes in favour of humane behaviour towards animals, they are not part of human conflict but become victims of war alongside people.

  • those motherfuckers who r they

  • Casey, I'm sorry about your dogs.

Could you have given them to an Iraqi civilian?

It's all so senseless. And extremely powerful rich people, are making fortunes off this war. It would all be over soon, if insurgents were to attack Haliburton, and KBR officials, rather than American troops. It would be over REAL quick. Guess what? You are there to protect rich guys while they loot. While they launder American tax dollars. Sorry. I'll shut up now.

  • The juxtaposition of man's inumanity and humanity in this ONE short movie is worth more than the five star rating allowed. Well done! It was disturbing to learn of the puppies' fate...

  • I am in tears right now. It's terrible to know that those "men" have nothing better to do than to kill innocent animals just for fun. Thank you for atleast doing all you can for us and those poor dogs. God will punish them. God Bless.

  • damn im a pretty tough guy but i guess i have a soft spot for little puppy stories. :(

  • we had a couple of dogs in b co, they were good dogs, until some hhc cunt saw them and ratted on us. she had them shot by some officers. i have been shot at, had people try and detonate me, i am pretty sure the dogs we had did not pose much of a risk. officers are ass covring pricks.

  • I had a rabbit that I brought up to the VA with me, it was aptly named "Mr. Bun," after watching "Reservoir Dogs" one too many times. I made him a 'lil fatigue jacket that I sewed a Tunnel Rat patch onto, I even got him a custom pair of dogtags and a shit burner pin. The vets loved him, he died a year ago, during a Midwest icestorm, I had to get rid of him, since my roommate was allergic to rabbits, and my parents kept him when their heat went out, he quickly froze to death when they were gone

  • These puppies would encourage compassion, so that is probably the reason why pets are forbidden.

Pets probably do help people with stress relief. The military probably wouldn't want this. They probably would rather have the soldiers stressed, raged, and ready to kill anyone and anything.

  • I am so sorry. The dogs could have saved a soldier's life by alerting you all to a stranger's presence. That, alone, is reason for them to have stayed in your camp. There is nothing better than a dog's hearing or sense of small to alert a human companion to danger. The Ellen Show just had on Nubbs and the soldier who saved his life and was able to send him home. I am so sorry your CO was such an asshole.

  • Why do you think they 'disposed' of the dogs?

I assume it would be a tool to further strip the soldiers of a positive NICE reminder of home. Possibly a macho inferiority complex or whatever.

Either or it makes me sick, I feel for you and agree that the reasoning is BULLSHIT.

  • some of the soldiers in iraq are total FUCKHOLES mistreating dogs like that I could care less if they get sent home in a box and rot in hell but some of the soldiers are really nice and I hope they come home safe

  • Please don't hate American soldiers. They are only in that position, because of Bush and Cheney, and US corporations. War dehumanizes people. Rich white guys in suits, ruining the world for the rest of us. Why can't we go to war against them instead?

  • you guys are really nice but the other guys are mother fucking assholes who should burn in hell sorry about the dogs I wish they were still alive.

  • So sad, I'm so sorry. On top of your suffering there as a soldier. That you witness your canine friends murdered. I love you Yoga kat.

  • I'd like to thank everyone for the comments. It means a lot.

  • Health hazard my ass. Ok LT. never got farther then that but I would I would leave them for moral.

  • Those puppies are so cute! I am glad someone took the time to realize that all life is important. Sad things had to end that way.

  • Although a sad ending I'm happy to hear their are marines who have compassion for other living beings.

  • It was a moral booster you would think that is what officers would want. Sorry forgot everybody there is simply a dogtag.

  • Oh my god, I'm so sorry for you! Just being in Iraq is a health hazard in itself! I doubt two puppies could introduce any additional danger to your situation!

  • you did a great thing.. about time there is a vid showing soldiers being nice to animals.. i was losing faith in our military after seeing some sick things. so this happens a lot?

  • Your video restored some faith in me that we actually have some decent troops serving over there. Thank you for showing us that there is some humanity there, and not just cruelty.

  • That is VERY thoughtful of you. After seeing that video of that soldier throwing a puppy off of a cliff got me so irritated that someone would do that, fake or not. :/

  • Thanks for giving those puppies so much love while you had them. You did the best you could in that situation. I only hope there are more soldiers like yourself then there are the puppy killer that threw that little baby off the cliff.

You are the kind of people our country needs more of!

    Thank you

  • The media panders to those who buy things, so that they can get their advertising dollars. We need to reward the intelligent with high salaries and keep the idiots too poor to make an impact on our consumer driven system. Then that would change.

  • Very sad. At least they knew love for a moment in their brief life.

  • One way to preserve humanity in an inhuman situation! Unfortunately, we have people like entres below that can't understand that. All humanity is good. You don't have to sacrifice one to have the other. It's sad that our world is so full of cruelty. Absolutely, help the people and while we are at it, let's not be a prime example to the world of what humanity should be. We have lost that somewhere!!!

  • Shit like this wouldn't happen in the Marine Corps.

  • Just my opinion, but you would think the military would embrace the keeping of pets. Not only do they serve as a moral booster but most can be trained to work. They pay thousands of dollars for trained bomb sniffing dogs but could take these free roaming pups and train them at a minimal cost comparitively. Also, the Lt. Col. should be shot and dragged through the streets. Fuck him and pray he takes one in the gut and bleeds out slowly! As far as a health risk? The military has vetrinarians.

  • health hazard?? war is not on any list of "things you can do to promote good health and increase your life expectancy" i sincerely hope that you did not witness the execution of those sweet little puppies. i am disgusted with the outrageous behavior of the men responsible for the execution of "cagney and lacey" (i know who they are). im very sorry that you had to experience such insane cruelty.

  • i was in another company on that same fob at the same time. we had a couple of puppies too... and pretty much the same thing happened to them. those dogs were the best part of that whole shitty deployment.

  • i am sorry for what you went through. i have 5 dogs myself, and i keep dog food in my car to feed the strays that waunder around my area .i am also feeding 2 stray cats. so- i appreciate your compassion for those puppies.i only wish that there were more people like you,and im sure you did all you could for them. the commander's behavior was outrageous. he will get his one day.

  • that is such a sad story! it really pisses me off that you guys werent allowed to keep them-because they do provide a major service-they help keep you guys together

and to have innocent dogs killed for no reason is heart breaking

  • I have not only posted this on my space but reported the vid to peta and and some guys who did a movie called your mommy kills animals! can't hide from activist their allover the country.

  • You all should see a movie here about lava a iraq puppy that was found in a command post. The troops there took care of him and later found out they couldnt taken him home but one didnt HE didnt stand there so the dog could be killed. He did what he needed and the dog was sent home with him If anything If I find a dog or puppy I will take care of it till it moves or im kicked out of the marines.

  • Thats sickening, really. The least I can do is write this LTC a letter expressing my disgust.

  • I HATE anybody who mistreats animals! You're stuck in a sand box homesick with not much to raise moral. A pet is a great way to raise moral and have a little something to make life better.

For some a****** commander to order them drug off and tortued and killed or kick them for no reason!

I won't lose sleep if he steps on an IED.

  • Hell yea What if he is taken away and shot. What goes around comes around.
