Luke is coming back...at the end, he explains he has another adventure (at the time of the final puzzle) and it says "To be continued..." finished my game today, and cried....it was so sad, but a beautiful ending. Im glad they didnt let Clive die.....that would of been a little too cruel...

When I first saw this scene, it was the Japanese version, and there was a rumor going around that Luke was aboard the Titanic. I bawled and then found out that it wasn't the titanic, but then I cried more anyways :'(

Pandora's Box: She found Babette's dog, and she remembered a puzzle.

Lost Future: She solved puzzles, defended the Professor in Chapter 11, and giving us a tip about not being a thief in the same Chapter.

Also, the kidnapping's not a problem, in fact, it made Layton and Luke to be so angry at Clive that they've defied the gravity and its valor of -9,8 m/s with the Laytonmobile! And I loved so much that scene, and it was so adorable when they've rescued her! <3

Both of us gets into the thing and flys' back.

@spark12222 In the Japanese version, the line "Luke..." was used in place of "There, there", and the professor had more of a poor-boy-no-wait-I'm-a-profess­ional-I-have-to-be-impartial uneasy look. The English version replaced it with a smile so it would make a little more sense in context, I guess,

I started crying when Claire went away too... I was sobbing like mad like "Nooooo... :'(" I had to blow my nose many many times. And when Luke started crying (SPANISH VERSION MUCH MORE CUTE!! English voice is driving me crazy) I was like "Huge tears... " And soaked the bed. The following five times I saw the ending scenes I cried sooooo much... LAYTON FOREVER! Waiting impatiently for the film!! :D

It was sad, but in a cute way. I chuckled a little because I know Luke will be ok and they will see each other again. Learning how to say goodbye (or "so long", haha) is part of growing up. When the prof started lecturing him though I was yelling at the screen for him to shut up and give the boy a hug already. XD

Now Luke is going away, maybe back to Mist Haley, or his own adventures, that hurts. DAMN YOU Level-5 and P.A. Animations for this emotional bulls**t. Now to drown my sorrows in reality, you monkeys. Ah, I'm afraid I smiled when Luke began crying---it wasn't for entertainment, I assure you! I guess, I sort of had on the same expression as the professor. Truth be told, I was quite sad to see Luke finally leave from the professor's side, but I smiled a bit because I thought it was quite endearing to see Luke so attached to Professor Layton.
