Everything about this performance is letter perfect and worthy of study by any true comedy fan. Any student of the form unable to recognize and aspire to Mr. Addotta's Sinatra-like relaxed, yet exacting word choice and phrasing, would do well to spare themselves the challenging life of a comic and save the rest of us the challenge of watching.
he did the EXACT same roast on the Larry Sanders show years before. I'm talking word-for-word. Hilarious material, but pathetically lazy work.
