Great video! I'm gonna start implementing clicks/loops via Live with our worship band once I figure it all out. Currently running clicks through my Yamaha MOX and a headphone splitter. What type of monitoring system you use? We're trying to get rid of floor wedges, but are on a tight budget. Great video!!
That was super awesome! I know how to use a lot of other stuff in ableton but not this sort of stuff. This is crazy cool. Especially tge too change instruction for clips.
I will implement this with rewire into my Apple mainstage setup (used for keys mostly.... Which I can not really play anyway!!!) asap!
Currently I have a little Akai mpk25 mini controller along with my other synth, but the thing about the mpk 25 is that it has 4 banks of 12 pads (totalling 48 trigger pads) which can
Hi Jake, thank you for this video. It's not too hard for me to follow. I am really interested to purchase ableton live worship for my worship band. This is liveworship 7? I am not a computer person but willing to work to get what needs to done. If you have a chance could you show the steps from the beginning. I mean the moment you download a worship song -- to the moment you play with the track. Is that ok? Thank you so much again, God bless!
Thanks, Jake! Really helpful video. I'm a worship leader just outside of Philadelphia and was able to introduce loops last week armed with only this video! Great resource.
This is a really great vid and exactly what i am wanting to do...if ableton wasn't such a piece of poo. I am new so maybe i am overlooking something but have done everything show and when i set the scene tempo & signature it doesn't apply/work. It uses a global 120 4/4. for all scenes. Any ideas?
@tuckster12 actually it's not a shit program at all, it's great. You need to warp samples and tracks. i've never seen Ableton used so lightly, it's meant to push things to its limits but if you pay for it i can't say how someone should use it, and maybe church stuff doesn't need to get all experimental anyways, you guys don't need it bein like "JESUS esus esus" "ALMIGHTY" *choirs and synths* ....
lol "THE DEVIL" *pitched down* "Save your Soul"=bassline. Church would be a whole new experience
when i first got live, i made loops using it but eventually i got reason, too. that seems to be the route that most people go. although I've heard good results out of garageband/logic, too.

which version of live are you using? i've used both 6 & 7 and haven't had that issue.

@tuckster12 Try keeping the tempo in the name of the scene
