it has nothing to do with religion, as the commentator said it is a pharaonic customs that is shared by egypt and sudan. if you don't speak arabic, the images should give you the hint of the origin of this practice. in egypt and sudan the practice is called pharaonic circumcision hence the origin of the practice.

there is a big difference between female/male circumcision. male circumcision is a lot more hygienic and sometimes healthier. female circumcision is something completely more brutal and uncalled for. there is no reason to be cutting off the labia or the clitoris for it to be "hygienic" or anything like that. it is simply their belief which is not the best thing to do but you can't change the world.
also, male circumcision does not cause infertility, disease, or death. female circumcision does.

I'm not trying to change the world i'm trying to change my country. the USA. Male circumcision is no more hygienic than female circumcision is. Just because it's done in a hospital doesn't make it ok to cut off erogenous tissue from babies or children.
Do your research and you'll come to believe the same as i do, Circumcision of either gender is evil, disgusting, and wrong.

There is a chance the woman can bleed to death, and it has a significant impact on hormone levels in a woman.
Primarily, it is designed to keep women from enjoying sex as a means to better control them.

Male circumcision was primarily designed to keep men from masturbating and enjoying sex as well, THAT IS THE ONLY reason it's as popular in America now. Look it up, Harvey Kellog himself suggested that boys not recieve anesthesia during the procedure so that they remember the pain and are afraid of pleasing themselves.
