@TheWaynelds Rane probably had this planned from a while ago. Just like Audi just came out with a A1, and theres is an A3, so that years from now, there will be an A2.
I have the original SL1 and have wanted to upgrade only for the means of having better sound quality but more so for the recording feature. The fact the SL2 only upgrades the sound quality and does away with extra wiring, to me, seems useless as a new/replacement product. I hope Serato someday will add the recording feature as an internal feature within the software as does Traktor and DVS systems.
@BOOMtargetdown No, your computer should already have a sound card pre installed and its fine as it is. On the other hand, If you DJ and want to use Scratch Live software, These SL (Scratch Live) soundcards are for DJ's to be able to play their digital music files from their turntables with SL time coded vinyl.
And yes My SL1 sound card is hooked into a mixer and plugged into my USB port
Does this work with the bridge?

what about the drivers for window 7 and i core processor

Why did they skip SL2 anyway and jump from SL1 to SL3, and then come back to SL2?
Also thats sucks there's no thru's anymore for playing vinyl.

what can you do with a soundcard
please reply
BOOMtargetdown 11 months ago
@BOOMtargetdown that depends on what "exactly" you mean. A sound card, or the SL sound card?
TheWaynelds 11 months ago
@TheWaynelds just a soundcard..
BOOMtargetdown 11 months ago
@BOOMtargetdown Well your soundcard allows your computer to play sounds and music.
No sound card = no sound
TheWaynelds 11 months ago
@TheWaynelds do you need it to connect a mixer to your laptop?

Konix, I love your videos. Are there any areas where this interface is better than the SL3?
reschla 11 months ago
@reschla - Not really, the SL3 can do everything the SL2 can plus more.
