  • Ed Rendell is briefly featured (pic) in my documentary America's Dark Secrets. check out the trailer here on youtube. Former D.A. of the Move 9 group convicted of cop killing

  • Rendell is a big baby. If Staal or anyone doesn't agree with his inane reasoning, he does what liberal sacks of shit do, shout over and cry! Rendell is in bed with the industry!

  • thanks for ruining my state fast Eddie! Good riddance!

  • I dislike Rendell, but I just don't see the point of this 60 Minutes piece. Jackpot machines are dangerous to gambling addicts? Then you might as well outlaw taverns and bars since they're a threat to alcholics. Might as well ban over the counter medicines too.

Give me a break! I have sympathy for gambling addicts, but you can't have this sort of thing influence public policy.

  • Rendell is a zionist

  • I guess a blowjobs out the question now, huh

Ed! He would have been a good teacher! lol

  • Poor old, jaded Ed Rendell wants to go out with a bang, definitely time for him retire thanks to the voters. Maybe he is trying to land a spot on MSNBC, he'd fit right in with all those lunatics.

  • This is how the LIBERAL TRASH really thinks of all American's... Rendell your just Like Obama your a Commy piece of shit.. I hope all you Liberal Cocksuckers burn in hell..

  • @mrjfh3 Is it REALLY necessary to act so hateful? Your statement is going way too far. I disagree with you, and you with me; but it's not either of our political views that's hurting our country. The problem is that we see each other as the enemy and the problem, instead of focusing on our actual problems. THE biggest problem America faces is division. We can only stay a great country & fix our problems if we remain the UNITED States of America. "A house divided against itself cannot stand."

  • The face of tyranny when the mask is removed. That is the true face of progressives. Pennsylvanians, get rid of that jerk.

  • it was fast eddie's last month in office...do you think he cares?

  • Don't step on Hamface's pet industry.

  • A Democrat against a Journalist?

Close call, but I'll side with leslie.

    She's the hottest 68yoilf i've ever seen.

  • I always had a bad feeling about this guy, now I know why.

  • Off hand, when they pushed that Palin BS about the "death panels" for months. When they kept asking where the money for the NYC Mosque was coming from, when it was coming from the second largest stock holder of fox "news". When they lied about the size of Becks rally progressively until Beck said it was about 1.7 million, when they knew it was less than 85,000. When fox said Obama was raised at a Muslim school,ECT,ECT...Oh, and nearly everything that Beck says & or insinuates on a daily basis.

  • @Phillysmostwonted When resources are scarce, rationing is one way to maximize them. It's the same with health care. Rationing will be necessary. This has already been proven wherever government runs health care. When rationing, who uses the least resources and produces the most? Youth. Who is expensive and unproductive? Elderly. Who decides where the health care dollars will be best spent? A panel? What would you call that panel who's job it is to disburse life and/or death? N.I.C.E.

  • @justgonnastay You just made up a bunch of BS, put it in a line & said, "look! proof!" I don't even know if I can argue with you, because you clearly don't live in reality. There was never anything about "death panels" in the bill; just END OF LIFE COUNSELING. That is, when someone's terminally ill, they can opt for psychological help in dealing with their mortality. But even that was taken out to appease irrationally fearful people like you. Did you learn a lot from master Beck's chalkboard?

  • @Phillysmostwonted: LMAO ~ you're a brainwashed fool

Obama's newly appointed head of h/c, Donald Berwick, recently said, "It's not a matter IF we ration care, it's if we'll do it with our eyes open".

Obama Economic adviser, Paul Krugman, said Death Panels will be necessary to lower the deficit. Here you go .. in his own words: /watch?v=tDnvmOQDkkw

As far as the mosque, that stockholder is also invested in GE, NBC, Citibank, etc. ... Obama's friends.

You see how stupid you are? Damn...

  • @2010GOP Chill with the insults; especially when they're based upon a mountain of disinformation. Do you even know what they're talking about when they refer to death panels? END OF LIFE COUNSELING FOR THOSE WHO OPT FOR IT. As for the Mosque, that stockholder is not what's in question genius; it's the fact that fox hit the fear button for weeks about the possibility of terrorists backing the Mosque to further divide the US., when they knew it was one of their stockholders all along.

  • @Phillysmostwonted: I can't even begin to explain to you how asinine your comments are. Clearly, you're being deliberately & willfully ignorant.

    A) Obama's H/C appointee said we will have to RATION care -- WTF does that have to do w/counseling?

    B) Obama's economic advisor said we'll need "Death Panels" to control the deficit. That has nothing to do with "counseling".

    C) 70% of NY'ers are opposed to the mosque -- Fox aired their view & debated. You just want MSNBC to show one side

  • @2010GOP You truly have the fox "news"/far right continual line of disinformation down pat. I see how you acquired that account ID.

1 Obviously, your "quote" is out of context & misleading. No one who pays for healthcare will ever have it rationed.

2 Also complete lies. You need to look up what End of Life Counseling is(which is now out). Aka, Palins scary ~DEATH PANELS~

3 AGAIN, fox knowingly & willingly lied, END OF STORY. & please don't w.b., you can't be reasoned with. Goodbye & God bless!

  • @Phillysmostwonted: ROFLMAO!!! Stay blind & ignorant, shit-for-brains. NOTHING was taken out of context.

Obama's appointee SAID HIMSELF that "RATIONING" will have to take place.

Obama's economic advisor SAID HIMSELF that we'll have to have "DEATH PANELS" to control the deficit. That means, dipshit, that some expenses will NOT be paid for for some

A fk'ing 3rd grader can figure that out. How stupid are you? Never mind, those of us w/those things called "braincells" understand. RETARD

  • @Phillysmostwonted Ed did such a good job when he was mayor of Filthydelphia that your schools are still BANKRUPT & in RECEIVERSHIP!!!!!!! Then you BRAINDEAD Filthydephians went ahead and voted him in as Governator!!!!!! Other than rape the coffers of Pennsylvania and screw all of the state employees out of contractual raises for years, the way that he screwed Filly fire and policemen, what has he done except steal from the working class and line his own pockets... & what about his Judge wife?

  • @Raoul3657 Oh man, I'm soooo angry that you called Philly filthydelphia. You are extremely clever & origional, yet somehow simultaneously retarded. But yes, Philly single-handedly voted Rendell in. You OBVIOUSLY know much more about Philly than anyone who lives in it. I mean, it's impossible to refute your iron-clad facts; so I concede to your greatness. I am just a brain-dead "filthydelphian" after all. Good luck with acting like an ignorant d!ck ! Goodbye and God bless you brother, sincerely.

  • gov. tool

  • Democrats are good at being villains, aren't they. And their mantra is always the same: "The masses are stupid, we must rule them by force". If this were Star Wars, Rendell would be the Darth Tyranus, Bill Maher Darth Vader, and Jared Loughner Darth Maul.

  • @blogbat I was thinking the same exact thing if it were Republicans.

  • America, re-unite and put only citizens in power, no more politicians....ever!!!

  • Comment removed

  • Scary Dude! He is the simpleton...just because people are waking up and don't want to be part of the herd...losesr

  • Take a good look America, because, whether they will admit it or not, this is the way most of our ELECTED government officials really talk about us in their CLOSED DOOR meetings.

    WANTED: GOVERNMENT OFFICIALS

REQUIREMENTS: Honesty, Character, and LOVE OF COUNTRY (including Americans)

  • it's absolutely beautiful to see totalitarians, libs or any control freaks and their emotions being caught on camera ... BUT if you're young, naive, uneducated or a combination of all 3, then even this probably won't open your eyes.

  • What can we expect of Governor Rendell. When he flew to Haiti, he takes up precious airport space [relief plans from Brazil and France were turned away] to pick up orphans and pose for cameras. Only later he learns they LEFT ONE KID ON THE BUS and had to go back for the child--or send an aid more likely.

  • Pennsylvania, YOU elected this Moron.. dont make that same mistake 4 years from now when he comes up for re-election.

  • @TheSwabbie, you're right, Swabbie. I live here in the Keystone State and I sure didn't vote for this ass but I live in the rural northeast. The voting strongholds are in Pittsburgh, Philadelphia, Harrisburg, and Erie and they tend to vote Democratic. Sadly.

  • @nobodyshero0000 People in the Cities often do vote Democratic more than urban or rural areas.. I've always wondered why? I've heard some relatives say that they know people up in NYC that have never seen "Real" honest to goodness farmland or forrest other than Central park.. having lived their entire lives on concrete.. how sad.

  • @TheSwabbie Sociology 101: When you lump people together they begin to act differently - and unless they are aware of the group dynamic, they can get sucked into playing the part Democrat power-mongers want them to play.

  • @TheSwabbie His term is up. And we elected Tom Corbett this November.

    Bye bye, Fast Eddie!

  • @tarkus588 Awesome! Anyone is better than Rendell.. he's made a fool out of himself quite a few times.

  • This is what happens when you take away a Liberals MONEY.. Taxes or whatever.. it doesnt matter.. all they see is dollar signs... all it leads to is bondage.

  • here is the real problem with our country. it isn't a left or right thing. it is the politicians in DC seeing themselves as Gods and what they say is the gosphel. it is disgraceful. this man is just that, a man. he is no better than me or you. same goes for all of them in DC. that is what everyone seems to forget.

  • @ARealAmericanVa YES!!! I absolutely agree 100%

  • This is taken totally out of context. This bitch must have really said something retarded for him to get mad

  • How can the good folks of PA put a guy like this in office in the first place?

  • Comment removed

  • OK....they're going to Atlantic City or Delaware to "lose their paycheck", so, why not open gambling parlors here so PA can steal the poor gambling addict's money?

Who is the real simpleton and idiot, Mr. Former Governor, Rendell?

  • you know what rendell? fuck you your the idiot by passing stupid laws such as how wiccans have to have a license to practice their religion thats just bullshit thats like having to get a permit in order to breathe and all you do is sit in your governor earned house going round the state gambiling just to pass stupid and biased laws go swallow glass asshole

  • these attack journalists are part of the problem in our country, they care not about a useful discussion they just want colorful soundbite and who give a turd if there is anything truthful or honest about the presentation. What is the bigger crime? A state attempting to generate revenue or the media's non-stop B.S.

  • one stadium, the eagles payed for theirs. It's those lamers in Pittsburgh who took the handout. The State attempted to load the Eagles money to build the their stadium. Once Pittsburgh got wind of this they demanded a new stadium also and forced the state into providing one. The eagles followed through and paid the state back. Pittsburgh ate the free sandwich with non even a thank-you.

  • 200 to 300 dollars tax relieve because of the casinos !!!!!!!! fairy tales fairly tales !!!!!!!!!!! the casinos were shoved down our throats just like the two stadiums were in pgh. william penn is rolling over in his grave, (unless a casino was built over it so he couldn't roll over.)

  • Heres the full clip on Rendell on 60 minutes.... watch?v=HWiHLTYgJjQ

  • LOL Freaking libturds all over the country are becoming unhinged!!! LOL love it!!

  • Comment removed

  • as far as i am concearned the states bending of constitutional laws governing gamling has in fact taken place so they (government) could get their piece of the pie. I sincerily wish they would put programs in place to help americans overcome gambling addictions, but i guess they figure by putting up an 800 number that is all they need to do to wash their hands of the Sin. oh by the way governor- You looked to be demon possessed, can we Pray for you?

  • just looked at some of the other video of Eddy. Sometimes in order to communicate with people you have to get on their level...

    So here goes....

"Ed, your performance on the show 60 Minutes made you look WUSSY"

  • Remember Ed, ..... just because you say it, does not make it truth or fact. Bullying and calling people names may have worked for you all your life, but it does not make it right, nor does it make your opinion correct, factual or ethical by any normal standards.

  • Actually BWWLANCE61, in context ... He says directly to her that he knows of her and he did not think her to be stupid but since the point Leslie was making on this segment is that the Goverment IS using Gambling as an alternative means for revenue, and that they ARE in fact fleecing Americans - Leslie's reply back to Ed was that she was smart in his eyes in all but this matter. So, like it or not Mr Rendell by implication is calling her as well as every viewer simpleton's and idiots.

  • Fat slob suprised he wasn't stuffing his fat face with a hoogie

  • Not that Rendells famous temper on display is defensible at any time, but it's inaccurate to say he called Leslie Stahl a "simpleton".His words were "They're simpletons" referencing those critical of state approved gambling.

  • This was a very good segment and showed the Goverment IS preying on everyone with these gambling establishments. Eddy seems to believe in his own immoral unethical logic as was apparent in this segment. He seems deranged and that actually is scary because wasn't he a Govenor of some state? YIKES!!

  • The truth hurts ???

  • He's right, the liberal media ARE simpletons. Remember, they still think that passing more gun laws will keep CRIMINALS from getting guns.

  • @MatthewPA1972 Stop being a douche with this generalizing and partisan name calling and aggression.

  • @Phillysmostwonted LOL That was awesome: "Stop with the name calling, you douche." Classic.

  • @MatthewPA1972 LoL, you're right that would be funny if I said that, but I said, "partisan name calling". I didn't call conservatives douches.

  • @Phillysmostwonted Even more hilarity! Name calling is OK, as long as it's "non-partisan!" You da man! Also, you know it's spelled "wanted," right?

  • @MatthewPA1972 My point was that I didn't contradict myself, but this argument is ridiculous. You're right, I shouldn't have said to stop being a douche. And in response to your condescending remark, "wanted" was taken bro.

  • @MatthewPA1972 Stop quoting 80s talking points. The media may or may not have been liberal in the past, but it's owned by corporations today. You have MSNBC and you have Fox News - people can get what they want and the media is mostly just mindless drivel.

  • @gregkauf1987 I dunno about 80's talking points -- I wasn't paying attention to this stuff back in 80s', I was a little kid -- but the fact that networks are owned by big corporations doesn't mean they aren't liberal. Remember, Wall Street and most big businesses were fully behind Obama's campaign in 2008. Warren Buffett and Bill Gates love Obama. The Republican/conservative Party is now the party of the little guy, of SMALL business.

  • @MatthewPA1972 Why would Wall St. back Obama? Obviously, because whoever won the Dem primary was going to win the White House, especially someone as charismatic & inspiring as Obama. For people who make their living gambling, that bet was a no-brainer. Also, Warren Buffett & Bill Gates are the two worst "evil rich guy" names to throw out as proof of Obama's elitism. Both are self made, crazy charitable, & in public favor, esp. Warren Buffett. YOU HAVE BEEN BRAIN WASHED! STOP WATCHING GLENN BECK!

  • @Phillysmostwonted Exactly. Big business, the rich and wealthy aren't conservative -- they go whichever way the wind is shifting. And Obama is an elitist, as are most Dems now. Didn't use to be the case, but things change. The regular folks tend now to be GOP and conservatives. Anyhow, get ahold of Charles Gasparino's new book and read how Obama went to meet with the Wall Street folks and other tycoons and how he basically said to them, "Tell me what I can do for you."

  • @MatthewPA1972 No, their party is definitely the Republican party, however, they still had to make a show of support for the expected winner in an attempt to butter up the guy who'd be in charge. Wall St. has put all their money & personnel into the GOP, but as any intelligent person would do, they decided to try & hedge their bets...The GOP was against the 9/11 first responders bill, is against Universal Healthcare & extending unemployment benefits; but yeah, they're for the little guy..HAH!

  • @MatthewPA1972 But to be honest, I do believe that both parties are in the pockets of the extremely rich to an extent; I don't think they have much of a choice but to play ball. But the difference between the Republicans & Democrats is that the Republicans are the corruptors & the Democrats are the corruptees. If you just pay attention to what's going on, through non-biased eyes, it's so obvious...You really have to start getting your info from someplace other than fox "news" & Rush brother.

  • @Phillysmostwonted Most of the corruption is on the Dem side, as most voter fraud is done by Dems. Repubs are sometimes guilty, too, of course, but the Dems have the market cornered. Also, you can't possibly fathom that perhaps it's not good to endlessly extend unemployment benefits cuz what that does is extend UNEMPLOYMENT. To you, the only reason not to extend benefits is just to be cruel and heartless, not because we can't afford it, or that paying people not to work keeps them not working.

  • @MatthewPA1972 Democrats have voter fraud cornered?! It's basically public knowledge that Bush committed the worst voter fraud in history & stole the White House from Al Gore, on top of the fact that he lost the popular vote both times. Ok, don't extend unemployment benefits for people who can't get work BECAUSE THERE IS NONE, but give the top 2% of Americans a pointless tax break & add TRILLIONS to our debt. AND oppose Universal Healthcare, which WILL SAVE BILLIONS, CREATE JOBS & HELP PEOPLE.

  • @Phillysmostwonted Dude, look, we're gonna have to wind this down soon. You're a wild-eyed true believer. Four news outfits -- none bastions of conservatism -- studied 2000 and determined that Gore didn' t win Florida, even though it was extremely close. He only lost Miami Dade County by 537 votes, but he lost. If I thought government healthcare would do all those things, I'd be for it. It will COST billions, and limit choice and access -- that's already begun. You're an idealist, I'm a realist.

  • @Phillysmostwonted Dude, look, you're not fooling me: When you say, "Get your news from somewhere other than..." what you really mean is, "Just accept Democrat dogma and give up that there's another side to the argument." You're the Kool Aid drinker here, not me. You're a true believer, you'll proudly go down with the Democrat ship. That's cool, but don't expect everyone else to. I have my own ideas. and they were there long before FNC and Rush Limbaugh.

  • @MatthewPA1972 The funny thing about me being a Democrat is that I've been a registered Independent for years. I don't trust anyone in Government. However, the Republicans have become so ridiculously, obviously against the middle & lower classes that it makes me sick. And as for fox "news", they've been proven to distort, hide, exaggerate, make up & out rite lie about information they've put out to the public so many times I can't count. Fox, Glenn & Rush are 24/7 divisive Hate & Fear Mongers.

  • @Phillysmostwonted Here's the crux: You say you don't trust anyone in government, and neither do I. Conservatives trust God, not man. But you trust government itself. Liberals tend to believe in the perfectability of man, in the possibility of Utopia. Again, you may not trust anyone in government, but yet you trust government. As a conservative, I don't trust government. The Founders didn't think we should trust government, which is why it should be as limited as possible.

  • @Phillysmostwonted you are entitled to your opinion but not lies. Fox, Glenn, Rush and all the others you hate have been proven right and continue to be proven right. as for hate, i think you need to look at MSNBC talking all the hate and leftist advisors to Obama calling for riots and violence. look who caused all the riots in Europe. unions and other leftist groups.

  • @Phillysmostwonted Can you name for me a case where it was proven that Fox was dishonest? It shouldn't be hard, since you claim there are so many.

  • @Phillysmostwonted Gonna be tough for me to get through to you because you're not able to fathom that perhaps the reason the GOP didn't want to blindly go ahead and pass the 9-11 Responders bill is that it thoughtlessly throws money at people without determining if the right people are getting it. In your mind, the only possible reason the GOP took that stand is that they're just mean and heartless. When it comes out that alot of the money was wasted, you won't be paying attention.

  • @MatthewPA1972 No, the only reason they didn't pass it is because they're more worried about saving money than helping some of the greatest American Hero's and worst victims in modern history. But they have no problem using 9/11 to spread divisiveness, fear and hate amongst Americans over the NYC Mosque, 24/7 for like two months straight. But when it comes to the 9/11 first responders, I don't care if a Billion dollars gets wasted, as long as they get what they deserve when they need it.

  • @Phillysmostwonted Yeah, the only thing they're interested in is spreading fear and hate just for the heck of it, or to benefit politically, not because they actually thought there's a serious threat out there that may kill alot more Americans. Look, there's no point in continuing because there's no reaching you. Please don't get a gun and shoot anyone. By the way, I think the GOP just wanted some time to debate the 9-11 Bill, but Democrats said nope, just pass it, now, no debate.

  • @Phillysmostwonted funny all they asked was to do debates on the bill and examine it. when they got a chance to do so they cut 4 billion off of it that would have padded the pockets of lawyers. then they had no problem with it. you seem to have forgotten that part. what about their insurance. they have the best insurance don't they? isn't it like Obamacare? as for the Mosque, they asked it be built somewhere else. funny the city wouldn't let the Greek church be rebuilt though.

  • "Heavy physical work, the care of home and children, petty quarrels with neighbors, films, football, beer, and, above all GAMBLING filled up the horizon of their minds. To keep them in control was not difficult... It was not desirable that the proles should have strong political feelings. All that was required of them was a primitive patriotism which could be appealed to whenever it was necessary to make them accept longer working hours or shorter rations." ~George Orwell, 1984

  • Only wish Gov Rendell would express the same outrage and frustration on the unethical behavior and corruption in Philadelphia.

  • Biggest Hall of Fame carpetbagger from New York. Learned he was Jewish when he ran for office, Got his wife a lifetime job as a federal judge, is a pig and a thief and needs to get a beating, preferably by someone from Philly since he has fucked up all of our relations with the rest of PA. PS - No One likes him at Comcast -he is a fat pig knuckled low life

  • Kudos to Ed. Someone had to say it to those 60min Leftist drones.

  • @NoGuff ur pretty fucking dum if u actually think he;s right

  • Once a loon, always a loon.

  • Good riddance.

  • his version of honesty. cant blame him

  • He is the best, gonna miss him.

  • What's the whole interview?

  • Money!

  • LOL!
