That settled, it's "Getter". That's how the Japanese want it spelled, and that's how it's always been. Any further bastardization of it just makes you look bad enough.

As much as I agree with you mate there are a few things I'd like to point out.

1. The pronounciation would be geta, and if you're answering a pronounciation question you'd answer in IPA with one t, because there's just one sound rergardless of spelling.

2. You can pronounce it the way you'd pronounce Getter in English if you like. Saying Getta is just a way to conform a foreign word with Japanese pronounciation rules, which require any consonant to be followed by a vovel.

If you're not Japanese however it is fully acceptable to use the native English pronounciation, which in turn depending on your dialect would or wouldn't have the final r. Anybody writing Getta, hould learn why it's pronounced that way instead of mindlessly parroting and claiming that's the only acceptable way... Examples like this are common in anything translated to Eng. from Jap. and sadly there still are people who will write phonetically thinking it's the "proper" way

@LM314V21 Linguistics 101 mate. Getta is just a way to conform getter to the Japanese pronunciation rules, which force every consonant to be followed by a vowel. However if you are non-japanese it's perfectly fine to use getter it is also written getter and pronounced getter in all non-japanese localisations. Neither of the forms is more or less correct than the other. It's only a question of the language rules you come from and decide to use. It's a question of your own taste how you say it.

Most late UC gundams have hardpoints to load different mission packs, the F90 had like 10 different configurations from fire support to bombardment to orbital reentry.

V2 had only 2 packs, but it could combine them for extreme heavy fire.

The only gundam to this point that can change mode on the fly are the Strike and Impulse series that can use manned or unmanned support fighters to switch packs. The packs aren't as varied as the 3 Getters or the F90's options, but they're still there.
