all the people that are considered "dumbasses" probably thought this ride would be a lot better that what it really was. besides people could just go on this ride to take an easy from all the big rides. although this ride isnt great for older patrons its very enjoyable for the younger generation. just thought i should say. :)

me and my friends wen ton this like 50 times in a row while our other friends were waiting to go on the maverick. i think at one point i screamed out "i feel like SINGING!" when the ride first started about the 4th time around, and then me and my friends gave some additional entertainment to the other adult riders by singing "the wheels on the bus go round and round". awesome day.

@TOMY1234321 Even if its a kid ride, it isn't a horrible ride, and its usually a walk on as well. I went a couple years ago with some friends and one was scared to ride anything, and was keeping us from riding most of what we wanted to. Then we got her to ride this, and I really enjoyed the ride. The same time though, the stretch of track after the second lift chain, the train stopped there, and one of the ride ops had come up there and pushed the train to go down the hill.

On my first trip to Cedar Point, this was one of my must-rides; I 'm a big fan of Mine Train roller coasters. I found this ride just...weak and needing a huge update. And the wood-grained cars make the ride feel really cheap.

Should be called Cedar Creek Cheeze Ride. The only time this ride today offers fun is at night after a few beers. Yes I know it has been around since the 70's, but I think it's time to upgrade. I also don't remember the trim brakes being so aggressive.

haha, it was funny, my friend hated roller coasters but he wanted to go on this, but we wanted to go onto the millenium force. So we made him a deal, if we rode this, that he had to go onto the millenium, he hates roller coatsers, so we went on cuz he made the deal, even b4 we were on the ride, we were in line, HE STARTED CRYING, it was SOOOOOO FUNNY

thats just the safty hitting the jig (thats what I call it) on the left part of the screen. It works the same way a wooden lawn chare works, a bar drops down and keeps the train from sliding backwords if the chain was to stop working.

its not supposed to be scary or even thrilling...its a family ride and it is for little kids and other people who don't want to go on the bigger rides like most mine trains at any park, however i don't remember all of those brake runs it did have some fun to it

I believe most people consider this a kiddy ride if anything. Its a nice step up for new riders just getting used to coasters. This ride also has history in the park... it was a screamer back in the day ;) The track was also hand made and bent on site, unlike your newer rides.

Meh. Its an okay starter ride, boring. But all in all its just a bunch of left turns and a couple crooked straightaways. I like the fact it has two lifts though. But it would be better if the lifts drop straight down instead of turning. It seems better on video than in real life...
