  • Far too fast!,,,,,spoils it...needs slowing down a bit!

  • I can see my house!!!:D

  • The northern lights are just so breath taking from satelite view :)

  • Shit, I forgot to turn off the lights at home that night. >:(

  • I feel like want to travel the world from orbit! I want to be an astronaut!Doing something in the ISS!Hope it happen in the future.

  • Soooo Beautiful!!!!!!!!!!

  • I cried

  • So beautiful

  • funny, we live on a ball in the middle of no where

  • I wish i had a three hour clip of just this and a TV screen for a ceiling. Maybe then I'll be able to get off YouTube and watch this until I go to sleep.

  • I'm not from australia, but dont be mean pls :)

  • After watching this video, it seems only natural that all humans deserve a chance to go into space.

  • @Starpilot149 Imagine how beautiful it would be to see it for yourself. the planets, stars and earth. :')

  • One day I hope that we find a new plant and a new race other than us

  • Oh My God...this is Amazing!!..its so true that Earth is like a shining blue jewel in the sky.

  • by ghost light did they mean lightning?

  • Gorgeous...

  • @hitlarspenis, Hi,Maybe you didn't realize that we can have streelights & other types of outdoor lighting AND starlight. It's a simple choice to keep lights pointed down and on target of what you're trying to light.Your desklight aims DOWN on your desk, right?Do you see the bulb? Can you see your paper clearly on your desk?Streetlights should point down and light only the streets.People have a false sense of security when they see streelight BULBS. This style fixture sends light 100 miles away.

  • So, WHEN will we finally get serious about putting an END to unnecessary light pollution?

  • @FischerAudrey Fuck you hippie

  • ahaa no light at all!!

  • Sorry im using the I pad

  • my god.. its beautiful..!

  • Amazing video , our home (the earth ) is amazing and unique, we should preserve it ,and we should love each other.

  • are there videos with normal speed?

  • 6 people still think the earth is flat!

  • can you imagine how many planets in the Universe with different civilizations look as beautifully as ours

  • I have flew across the earth several times :D

  • What kind of a buffoon could dislike this?

  • people divide themselves according to place where they live ( europeans, americans ect.), religion, skin color, race and ect., but none of them calls him self a planet's Earth inhabitant. I've never been more proud to call myself Earth's inhabitant.

  • Breathtaking.

  • It's so small... :(

  • DAMN.. I cant say anything..

    It's cool....

  • 3:03 - 3:07

Is that the reflection of the moon or what?

  • Hey, man, but we see cities and roads, and high altitude lightning that occur in ordinary storms, but also to the high altitude lightning. Where is the "unexplainable"? Scientists accept the high altitude lightnings as something obviously already.

  • Are these actual captured images or are they computer enhanced/generated in some way?

  • @MrAhgee Actual images taken with a camera through the windows of the ISS.

  • It's the ghost light! Lmao... If anyone got that, you're awesome xD

  • The Northern Lights were awesome :D

  • Beautifulllllll >๐<

  • Wow... Breathtaking...

  • Amazing video! Great soundtrack too. Who's the composer?

  • w00t i love drone ambient :D

  • Like the music.. Aciiiiiid !

  • FAKE!!!!!!!!1

  • why o why this video had to end :(

  • Wish I were there :-(

  • I thought these were electric... Ya it is. but your at a gas station.. ya um... so you have to use the bathroom.

  • At around 3:40 when it passes right above the aurora it's a bit freaky. It looks a bit kinda like flying above the surface of the sun except it's green instead of red.

  • Aliens?

  • Ghost Lights? They're just lights from cities. It's cool and all, but there's no such thing as ghosts.

  • Great....Another space video that leaves out Australia...

They show Europe, which is all cloudy, but not Australia where it's more clear here thus night lights will be visible.

  • @UpwardsFallings What aboot Canada?!?!

  • @ghemp09 Canada was in the last night light space video.

  • @UpwardsFallings Jealous?

  • @UpwardsFallings Which would be OK - except for that Australia only has about a dozen towns with electricity, so there wouldn't be a lot to see lol

  • @UpwardsFallings Now see, since Australia is upside down, they're just too scared to send them over for fear of falling out of their orbit. They need to grow some balls that's what.

  • @UpwardsFallings well, im just going to guess, and please correct me if any of this is wrong, but isnt most of australia's population in very small area's of the continent? Idk it seems like it might be to small to be all that interesting as a lot of the others. no offence intended.

  • @myr576 That's true and I guess that was the reason and I didn't have it in mind back then. They could've at least flew over Sydney, which is almost as large as LA and full of lights. It pisses me off they went EVERYWHERE, even the dark sahara, but not here.

Also, spacerip has left out Australia in so many videos, even in those that aren't about lightings and stuff (e.g. the continent drifting and all). It's the 5th largest country and a WHOLE continent, why always leave it out much?

  • @UpwardsFallings well I dont know, but i dont think they would have done it without some sort of reason. I mean for one Australia is seperated from the rest of the continents and correct me if im wrong but doesnt Australia sorta stay out of most world event... no offense intended

  • @myr576 It does join the Olympics and it's usually winner in many of the events. Let's not forget Hollywood famous actors like Hugh Jackman, Cate Blanchett, Eric Bana, Heath Ledger (Joker), Nicole Kidman and the main dude from Avatar - all Aussies and successful outside of Australia.

    No offence taken btw. :)

  • @UpwardsFallings I know, I was not talking about that I am talking about like wars and stuff, australia stayed neutral between it all. Nothing wrong with that, actually i think the U.S. may have been better off if it stayed neutral threw world events. again correct me if im wrong. But like i said before it can be sort of easy to pass up australia because its seperate from the rest of the world, I mean the thing is its own country its own continent wich can make it easy to passup

  • @UpwardsFallings but hey, i dont blame you for being mad, I understand you 100% and i agree with you but i just try to see things from the other side, even if i agree with them or not.

  • hey i can see my house from here.....

  • Pffft not even Type One yet

  • This filled me with a twinge of sadness. We're all so silly. Yet, look at us, all huddling in our little "tribes" toward light. We're all the same. We're all sitting here gushing over how beautiful we all are "down there" and how our world is. Let's at least all start acting like it.

  • Holy. Shit.

  • So beautiful, yet deep inside that planet, its people are full of hate and are killing each other, failing to realize that the Universe doesn't give a damn on what they're fighting for...

  • Beautiful.

  • Please, let me go to space for once, let me enjoy this beauty, it will complete my life :)

  • Stared in awe for a full 4 mins. The lights connect as though they were neurons in a nwtwork. Flashes of lightning in the thunderstorms. Actual dances by the aurora borealis. I feel so small.

  • Awesome visuals, I have never seen something like that before.

I wish I could watch this on a huge cinema screen sitting in the first row...

  • I really hope that we as a race make it to a tier 1 civilization...

  • @SargentLimpDick we will, as long as the sun dont burn our or some other fucked up shit that is out of our controll...

  • This makes me feel sleepy...but in a good way :)

  • I am speechless except maybe I said "wow" a dozen times... a superbly resplendent video! Subscribe! :)

  • Amazing video. Makes you look at life in a whole different perspective.

  • HUMANS! Y U NO BUILD MOAR SPACESHIPS?!?! ლ(ಠ益ಠლ)

  • woahhh... superb

  • 2:17 amazing light-show

  • One of the coolest fucking videos I have ever seen... o.o

  • @spacerip hey, nice video but why the title?

  • ITS NOT GHOST LIGHTS IM SURE ITS LIGHTNING

  • Oh man, i'm so high this Beauty got me to tears

  • @Cleuskywalker I don't even need to be high for that to happen

  • This is the most beautiful thing in the entire world. Wait, what?

  • Why is they no one narration in this video. Anyone watching this for the 1st time would come up with their own conclusions as to why the video is so fast. Why the flash's in and around clouds. derrr!. Over 2000 years ago some humans excepted the belief in supernatural beings creating and causing events that they were to lazy to understand. I see the same shit going on yt. I see people want to believe in time travel but they don't understand basic Particle Physics is not the same as Newtonian.

  • i love the whole world

    its such a pretty place

    ubeyadah ubeyadah

  • Great VDO !

  • Earth is the most beautiful place in the Universe. How lucky we are to enjoy Her.

  • this is beutiful but is shows the impact of us on the world too

  • @UltraVioletGaming800 don't worry, can't be fucked explaining

  • the planet is so beautifull, makes you think how fragile the world is

  • I want more of those spaceRip you understand? Make it happen, I could watch this for hours!

  • Comment removed

  • Ethereally beautiful. Earth is a holy place. And may we always be reminded that this is how our Creator sees it , with unbounded love.

  • It is beautiful. One can understand why the astronauts upon returning to Earth, share freely with everyone how we are all inter-connected for better or worse.

I for one would like it to be for the better, so if intent can create, lets push our various government politicians out of the way and create a better place for all of Earth's children! For me I feel that is what we were meant to do, but have lost our way.

  • Beautiful :o

  • Are those aaaaalllllllllllllllllllllllllll real images? Cause that's just awesome beyond belief

  • what happens there at 3:20. some sort of jump in the picture..

  • The aurora is breathtakingly beautiful.

  • It's like a trans

  • That is the first thing in a long long time that has taken my breath away.... Well done sir!

  • e tropo bello....

  • Isn't that just lightning?

  • SpaceRip Channel needs more recognition let's give it to em.

    like and favorite!!!

  • Earth looks so scary. That's why space aliens avoided coming around the haunted solar system.

  • what is that green outline around the earth?!?!?!?

  • @RiTutorials It's ozone it just looks weird from the reflection of light XD

  • @RiTutorials Also the magnetic field (northern lights) sorry it sent it before i could finish asdfg

  • Earth is such a beautiful planet...

  • 3:30 - 4:11 ... Most beatuful thing i've ever seen

  • That is intensely beautiful! Thank you SpaceRip for sharing that.

  • Can you see the outline of the atmosphere? It's just a tiny thin layer of gases, water and some organic stuff. Not much protecting us from space. It looks so fragile.

  • It takes me a while to figure out those sparkling white lights are thunder.

  • I wish I could download this video and have it on my iPad so I can share it with everyone else of how our Earth looks from this angle

  • @radtwelve You can =p

  • now I know why "UFOs or Aliens" tend to be seen more in the US ... because they have the brightest area around the world in the dark. I live in South East Asia and I don't see as much lights as compared to the US and Europe

  • the dislikes are like a ninja. you know their there but you can't see them

  • @UltraVioletGaming800 kinda, yeah. You aren't just someone's friend "just cus"

  • We know these are ghost..... How?

  • amazing

  • Amazing!

  • eve online music

  • You totally skipped Canada. -_-' my poor hat.

  • You religous a-holes give the rest of us God loving people a bad name. Please stop discracing the rest of us.

  • SPACE

    (屮ಠДಠ)屮

Y U NO HAVE MORE FANS

  • @honorific88

    ლ(ಠ益ಠლ)

Y U NO USING BETTER SYMBOLS

  • @honorific88 because everybody is too busy worrying what kind of stupid new gadget a company will announce . (-___-) we have lost our inspiration and enclosed our selves in a world full of materialism.

  • @ever2146 I'd say it's because we have no real access to space. When it comes to space, we're still an unborn child trapped in the womb on this planet.

I wish I had been born in some future time, but all we can do now is dream. It hurts to think about really.

  • @ever2146 I agree with everything except the enclosing ourselves in a world of materialism. Our entire universe material. We can't NOT be enclosed in materialism.

  • @ever2146 SO RIGHT!!!

  • @honorific88 Space lives too far away and only few humans have the modes of transportation for a visit.

  • the polar lights is beautiful.

  • Hermoso !

  • Bloody hell ! It's coruscant !

  • Wonderful shots!

  • That is just incredible! This is honestly beautiful!

  • Breathtaking beauty!... These images of Fragile Oasis are what EVERY person on Earth must see, especially those who wield power.

  • how does the astronauts protect themselves from the radiation ?

  • @tonyblackops: Low earth orbit is mostly below the van Allen belts; there are known high radiation locations in them, and these are avoided by both man and machine. Hardening of electronics, nominal shielding of humans. Avoiding, as much as possible, predicted solar storm occurrences. However, as Michener pointed out in his navel space, we have been lucky in that regard.

  • Great targeting information!

  • This channel > Pornhub

  • It's amazing videos like this that should make everyone silent and stare in awe, instead of arguing over useless things such as religion or politics. Beautiful. Thank you, SpaceRip.

  • those god damn lights are the reason why i cant see the stars at night in los angeles

  • Thanks, there's so much beauty in the world.

  • ufo 3:04 ? flying orb of thunder

  • To the people arguing about the origin of the universe on this video, knock it off. This video isn't about that. It's about the beauty of the light emitted from the earth as seen from orbit. It's not about cosmology, abiogenesis, big bang, or anything of the sort. Sit down, shut up, and enjoy the video.

  • Absolutely beautiful! i just have one real comment. I doubt any aliens capable of reaching Earth would be unfamiliar with the concept of city lights. The rest I can't really comment on, we have no idea what the atmospheric phenomena would be like on their world, but you don't travel interstellar distances without knowing what city lights look like.

  • it would be the world to me if i could one day go to the iss :( (nerd joke: what? i thought it was destroyed in modern warfare 2 :p ...)

  • Wow that is soooooo awsome..expanding my four year olds view like you wouldnt believe..

  • very interesting

  • Beautiful, eh? ^^

  • 5 dislikes comes from aliens

  • Makes me wanna spread my wings and FLY!

  • Our atmosphere is so thin. Amazing view. Thanks

  • 2:43 - 2:52 ... the Aurora looks so awesome!
