So if you lived in NY you could work at the Stardust Diner. It's this awesome restaurant in Times Square that I frequent when I'm there...all the waiters/waitresses sing and dance on the tables in poodle skirts and such. They sing mostly showtunes. Last time I was there some chick with frizzy Giselle-color hair sang Part of Your World but it wasn't great. A lot of producers go there to find the next big star...there's a long waiting list to work there but I'm sure you'd ace the audition =3
I feel your pain Traci. I left my full time job last July & have struggled ever since to find work. I currently work part time in a shop & part time in a bar but the shifts aren't long enough & the money isn't good enough! So i'm frustrated too!! GRRR. It puts a bad image usually on their buisness which in most cases is suppose to be "family" oriented.

So if you lived in NY you could work at the Stardust Diner. It's this awesome restaurant in Times Square that I frequent when I'm there...all the waiters/waitresses sing and dance on the tables in poodle skirts and such. They sing mostly showtunes. Last time I was there some chick with frizzy Giselle-color hair sang Part of Your World but it wasn't great. A lot of producers go there to find the next big star...there's a long waiting list to work there but I'm sure you'd ace the audition =3

Yeah, seriously! That's such a stupid reason not to hire someone, especially someone as outgoing and nice as her. People are really crazy these days.

I feel your pain Traci. I left my full time job last July & have struggled ever since to find work. I currently work part time in a shop & part time in a bar but the shifts aren't long enough & the money isn't good enough! So i'm frustrated too!! GRRR. I have so many plans just no money to do it with. I hope you find a job soon! xxx

I was a hostess/waitress a couple years ago. It's a HARD job.
Your hair is beautiful and I don't see how the color of your hair determines if get the job or not. I don't see how that would "Bother" customers, I think on the other side it would be very welcoming. =) GOOD LUCK on saving up the money for the recording studio. apply for hotel front desk jobs! you have such a great personality and are obviously computer savvy -- they would jump on a girl like you! that's what i do and it's the most fun job in the whole world!!!! and bad economy or not -- people are still traveling! i'd imagine especially in cali you'd get a lot of business lol give it a try, believe me you'll love it.

my friend works at a denny's and she has really really red hair maybe brighter then yours not to be mean and they hired her on the spot so if you have a dennyies in your area and if they are hireing give them a try good luck tracy i will be praying for you if you want to move um my cousin works for disneyland as a stage actor he plays prince charming in the new musical snow white and the 7 derfs musical

Do you live near a hard rock cafe???? the only one i know of thats in SO CAL is at the Universal City Walk, but i know they are really cool with like hair and stuff!!!!! I mean my waiter when I went had like lime green and orange mohawk lol. I LOVE YOUR HAIR!!!!!! <3 danielle

Best of luck with your job hunt, I know it's hard, but hang in there. I can't believe that people aren't DYING to hire you with your great personality, and your winning smile. Maybe you could try wearing a hat to one of your restaraunt interviews, so that would take some of the focus off of your hair. I don't know, I love your red hair, and I don't get why they wouldn't hire you because of it...weird.

Try being a cocktail waitress or a bartender. My cousin would make anywhere from $200-$500 a night just in tips.
