George Formby was a Brilliant Entertainer who brought laughter to a nation suffering from the Great Depression and the onset of WW11. He and Gracie Fields were loved, and deservedly so, for their ability to make people laugh . God Bless them both.

emporer of lancashire,what great style.he played a banjolele i believe,its got 4 strings and tuned same as a ukellelegives it a twangy sound.he had 4 tuned to different keys.he said he could only play in one key ,i heard he could,nt tune them.great guy though.
