  • Is this really 27 pounds? On your website it says it is 22 oz or 620g. Can someone please answer.

  • haha 27 pounds, i dont even think that would be legal in school parks like that.

  • Nice F-22 :)

  • hey dave....why did you unlist the vid....i couldnt find it and it is my fav vid!!

  • Can anyone please tell me the center of gravity (GC) on the kit.

  • Can anyone please tell me the center of gravity (GC) on the kit.

  • where did you get all the electronics?

  • Nightpron is stiffer than Daypron!!!!!!!!!!!

  • nice

  • Hey all, is it possible to build one of these with elmer's foam board with the paper peeled off instead of depron?

  • I have tryed that and I have had some problems with it. It breaks very easily compared to the depron foam But for the price its good>

  • try to build one off these with my own design, but, im all the way at malaysia.. and its hard for me to those material........disappointed....haha

  • great video

  • is that other person scott?

  • Yes, thats Scott Lott.

  • I'm currently trying to build the F-22 EB from the RCPowers PDF, but how do I mount the servos? Just hotglue them on or build them into the fuselage?

  • Either way, whatever you'd like, both ways will hold.

  • @RCSuperPowers I'm a little late with this, but thanks! I hotglued the servos on the inside of the fuselage and it works fine! The only problem is that I found out I suck at flying, so I had to buy Wild Hawk to practise. Btw, that was some good advice too, the Wild Hawk is a excellent beginners' plane. I did modify the canopy with magnets however.

  • do you get the rc controller wiith the plane?

    please reply

  • @gcry97 click on the link on the side bar, all the info is there.

  • This may sound stupid but what is meant by 2 cell, 3 cell etc? I'm assuming it involves wiring up two or more battery packs parallel to each other to give out the same voltage but longer lasting...although this may be completely wrong.

If somebody could tell me this would be good.

  • Hi MarshFacev2

    You are almost right :-)

It does not have to do with wiring the batterypacs in parraless, but in series - there for the "S" Compared to the parralel-wired pacs, wich could be named "2S1P" The its 2 cells in series (Double voltage) and in one pack, cuz its parallel.

In one LiPo cell, there is 3.7 volts, there for, when you got two of those cells in a 2S (2cells in SERIES) you got 7.4 volts :) you use 7.4 (2S) if you have a motor on the plane, if you wanna fly faster, choose a 3S :D

  • 1:23 jajajaja gay

  • how to make the 0:24 thing????

  • Elevons. Aileron / elevator mix on a digital transmitter.

  • what is a deltoid?

  • cdog9777,

A deltoid somewhat like a delta, but it falls through the sky a bit more like a meterioid.

  • The muscle on the top of your shoulder (somewhere around there).

  • if i get that im gonna make it look like revenge of the fallen starscream

  • LOL @ all the comments about the weight.

  • This is not an airplane, it is a brick with engine (and it flies like a brick)

  • 10oz.

  • dave i still think you look like tom cruise . lol.. and where is your hot girl friend i dont see her in your vids any more ?? have you split up if so give her my number .lol..

  • duh shes filming

  • val is the camera woman

  • scott said its weight is 10 oz.

  • 27 pounds bull

  • where u live in cali

  • Yes, 27 pounds is a joke. Dave's like that. (-:

  • I doubt it's actually that heavy, my 5th scale rc car is 24 pounds....

  • where could i buy one of these and how much?

  • Woohoo! weekly videos! :D

  • where do you buy one of these?.

  • Great to see Dave, Keith, Scott and Val all together! Great vid, as usual.

  • Nice to see new rc-powers youtube video

  • hey where are you guys located?

  • looks like california

  • la california. it was in one of there vids

  • ROCK ON MY DUDES!!!!!!!!

  • dose it come with the mother

  • Ram the guy in the blue shirt whit the plane

  • Good video as usual! Are you using metal gear servos or just el cheapo servos in this model? Finally I need to send you a file with some tail designs for the raptor. Like a big old FF on the tail for the First Fighter wing at Langley AFB!!

  • put the bomber thing attached to the chopper on this and it can make an air strike

  • 2:35 LOL ! Guy in blue shirt tries to say there is very little torque roll, then it rolls 90 degrees and almost crashes. That guy still sounds like a walking infomercial.

  • yea blue shirt dude is a dork

  • lol at 3.55

  • lol! dave shud have rammed the plane into the blue shirt guys face! :D

    anyway, awesome dave.. keep rocking!

  • i no

  • is elmerz glue a good glue for foamies including epp foam?

  • People will say that it is..... but I think is sucks..

take forever to set.. and is a pain in the ass to use.

For minor repairs I would use a hot glue gun, and/or CA instant glue (foam-safe) with a bottle of the instant activator.

for major repairs (i.e. broken nose, or wing) I would use some 5 minute Epoxy.

I also use 5 minutes epoxy for Initial builds of model airplanes, as its a strong bond.

  • that guy in blue is annoying, he thinks he knows everything.

  • Nah he is just trying to cover every aspect to inform the fellow RCer. Just useful and normal information that a fellow Flyer would like to know anyhow.

    Sweet plane BTW!!

  • that is a GREAT 27 lb.plane Dave

  • no yes no yes thanks for the positive reinforcement

  • you rock dude, you always go for the customer and not for yourself

  • wow 10,857 views in 1 day!!!!

  • hey dave i didn't know that the f-22 can be a good platform for a beginner. Also is a low level dihedral better that a high wing dihedral

or the other way please answer to my youtube account

  • low= more lift high = more stability u need it just right

  • Great video - it looks FANTASTIC in HD :)

  • Put some foam around your camera mic!

  • I got this one too:). I am building my second f-22eb right now. However with ailerons in the wings too. Because my first model was so slow on the roll. I crashed that one due to battery getting loose 100feet in the air.

I was also planning on rudder/airbrake combo. KF might be a good idea too. I'll wait how that will turn out. I fly it powered by: 25A towerpro esc(modded for better cooling, works great), separate bec, 2212-06 2200KV, 6x4 prop and 1800mAh turnigy 3S 20C.

  • something is wrong with that plane, like it is a bit tail heavy. The power makes up for it.

But good to see you back again guys.

    Greets from the Netherlands, iT

  • no way its 27#

    Absolutely no way.

  • The SU35 was much more impressive.

  • glad to see the videos are back. i missed them.

  • hey Welcome back dave! thats awsome! keep the awsome videos comin! Sweet plane scott! Just one question what is the setup your running in the video? thanks!

  • oh nevermind! i just saw that you just added it into the video! thanks!

  • no one can esplane this

  • What I don't understand is how do these foam planes stay up coz their wings don't have an airfoil? Can someone explane how they get lift with out an airfoil.

  • Basicly a brick with a lot of power. It flies at an angle.

  • Angle of attack.

  • I was there that plane is 27 LBS

  • 27 lbs.?! A fartjet motor?

  • Dave and gang,

what happend you only put up an RC video about every couple of weeks if that???

  • hey dave and or scott are u back on your regular schedual and if so what are your days that u post vids

  • hey up in the front were thje 2 piece front is you should bevel the enges to a 45 then that way when the two pieces come together you will have a nice flush look

  • 27 lbs!!!! Lol

  • Nice2 hand toss , Dave.(LOL)

Tell Kieth - If you order De Prawn grilled, be sure to ask for extra butter.

  • Glad you are back, even if is only once a week...

  • hes alive!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1

  • nice landings!! could someone please tell me how to control servos without a controller?? i have 4 servos and the receiver with the crystal... thanks

  • What do you mean? You can't do that. Servo tester to move a servo by turning a knob or custom built electronics can do. To do it through the receiver you do need a transmitter.

  • omg guys, you're alive :D

Finally an RC video again, that was awsome as well. I kinda missed you dave and Val.

  • i dont know y but that other guy kinda pisses me off...great vid though

    great video

    thanks

  • i really want that

  • it looks heavy for your small engine.

go turbine !!!!!!!! just kidding !!!!!!!!!

I like the colors but I do not like the joints I know it is an easy build but is too lazy

  • should have put pumpkin decals on. 5/5

  • I want one!

  • really, I like the mig 29 more.

  • I cant stand that scott guy

  • You're not alone! :D But I couldn't tell you what's wrong with him.

  • I'm building one!!

  • Hey Dave! I am a very large fan of your videos. Really super. Since I do not speak well English, excuse the amusing sentences. I am more beginner and have there times a question How is the equipment called with which you the two elevators to the aileron use at the same time can? Greeting RCTurboPower

  • who's this Dave guy? is he like that guy that USED to be on Youtube talking about how many shows a week he was gonna have !??!?!

  • Give him a break.

  • ROFL you have a couple of people thinking it is 27 pounds LOL,i'm liking this one mate and as laways top video = 5*

  • What fun. You have a great show. Very nice flying too.

  • Great video

  • Damn thats heavy or did you mean ounces?

  • Buddy. The thing's made of foam. Of course it's not 27 pounds. :>

  • Day-pron. LOL

He was totally kidding when he said 27 Pounds. . .

    5/5

  • Weight: 12-14 oz

  • Dave are you back?, yea! next week

  • Reminds me of a book of plans I had in the 80's for making planes from used styrofoam Big Mac containers. The McChicken biplane had a similar wing loading and flew great on windy days if you could get all of the mayo and lettuce out of the folds. ;-)

  • nice

  • lol 27 pounds ??? thats little heavy

  • NO WAY 27 POUNDS

  • did he say 27 pounds???????

  • I think he means ounce
