  • I think the should've made the TARDIS's windows explode for dramatic effect. The best non fire method I can think of is having flame colored paper tassles being blown out as soon as the window brake with the proper lights inside and then have it all retract quickly. And they should turn off the house lights right before the symbols hits.

  • I don't blame your hand shaking!!!

    Goodbye Ten :(

  • This sounds better than the TV version!

Simply amazing. I already miss him!

  • I love the 10 doctor, but 11 is my fav....the only thing that gave me a strong feeling about this was he accual song(vale decem) other than that, cool and really epic regeneration :D unlike the others, his wa a very powerfull regeneration, The bad bit about this is that they cut out the most important, ...I dont wanna go... That would have made them all cry deeply.. lol Great vid.

  • I'm no Latin scholar, but I think vale decem means the tenth "goodbye" rather than the the tenth "regeneration"? Now excuse me while I go and get a life! LOL.

  • @outlander271 no you're perfectly right! It means "goodbye ten"! I just thought that maybe not everyone knew which song it is, so I wrote 10th regeneration to explain that it's the song played at 10th regeneration. But I see that it can cause some confusion... any suggestions for a title change?

  • @Linmae90 I think the title is fine as it stands for the reasons you've just given. I was just chipping in my two cents for general information. I've got this particular program on tape and it's brilliant! Not a dry eye in the house as they say!

  • @Linmae90 vale decem is latin for farewell ten

  • @outlander271 vale means farewell i guess is all the same

  • i can never watch that part without my eyes watering.

  • @heata011 I don't think there was a single dry eye in the audience!

  • Hi glurpot, Guess what, the Proms is an extra on the Christmas Special DVD, out end of this month, you can pre order from Play.com, which I have done!! And it was repeated Friday on BBC 3, so I have it saved again on Sky+ Never will I lose this again, and yes I did have tears in my eyes again watching it last night!!

  • Not afraid to admit, tears in my eyes when I watched this on the proms

  • @TheMickhowes Wimp!!! I' know how you felt. It was such a moving tune and song. I could have shared a box of tissues with you. It got to me too; and I'm a 58 year old trucker............ not that that means a great deal. I was stunned to see it being sung by a a man. What a performance though? The whole show was awsome, especially when you think how big this quirky little sci fi drama has become. It's lasted well and getting bigger. Long may it last. Love Karen Gillan too, what a sweetie!!

  • @glurbpot Apparently the man singing was what they call a counter tenor.

  • @outlander271 Hi, Thanks for the info. As they say; you learn something new every day. Spose when you think about it the singing voice is a tenor singing in falsetto......... hence counter tenor! Clever innit!!

  • @glurbpot Clever indeed!

  • Thanks for filming and posting this!! <333
