  • yay 6 lbs! :) i have a question what is waterfasting? it doesn't sound that good to me... and judging by these other comments i dont think people think so either...

    the only thing i know is don't stop eating because then your body goes into 'survival mode' and hangs on to as much fat as possible to keep you alive. so bad idea. just keep up the good work! we're here with you :)

  • Lol well there are plenty of us out there. If there were more guys like you who realized the beauty in our bodies unfortunately there's few who are not focused on appearance thus leaving the bigger girls feeling bad about themselves

  • waterfast?? !! Bad idea .... Seriously.. The key to weight losss is keeping your body moviing and eat less. and the weight will come off.. But, don't do something silly as in not eat .. your just going to make it worse..

    This is VERY unhealthy!!!! You NEED vitamins, antioxidants AND calories to be healthy. You will feel weak, you might even pass out. Your body will go into a starvation mood, which will then store fat in your body....therefore, defeating your goal.

  • here is a silly question,,,, but what exactly is a water fast?

  • Not silly at all there are various different versions of "water fasting" the one I wanted to do was for a continous period of time consuming nothing other than water. Meaning you would not consume any calories for that period of time. If you have more questions feel free to ask... the only silly question is the one that stays unasked... so ask away girl!

  • I have heard many pros and cons to the water fast and I have seen videos of two other people who did a water fast and transitioned back into solid food and thay are well on their way to their goal weight.. I hope its safe too
