  • That's a shame. It was a really good setup.

  • I gives this a "like" on this vid. It sound great. The flowmaster 80 series is a great choice for a V6 setup. Have you ever concider replacing the resonator with a bullet-type mufflers. It would make it sound a little deeper without being raspy. Anyway great job bro!

  • @TheTexasHitmen Thanks for the like, I don't own the car anymore though so no way to tell how that would sound.

  • What rear end is that? GXP?

  • @bosspackfan4 No, It is the AIT Racing rear bumper.

  • IT sounds awesome, but do you have a cherry bomb glasspack?

  • @stevenfreeman52 nope, no glasspack. All stock except the muffler and piping and the intake.

  • @markpetersonii what kind of intake do you have?

  • @stevenfreeman52 It was a Injen FPU with the CRAB box and K&N Filter. I don't have the car anymore though.

  • i bet! did you upgrade? or just get rid of pontiac all together

  • @kylefife91 I got a 05 GTO but then sold that and got a 01 Grand Prix GTP, then sold that... Now I have an 03 MB E500 Sport.

  • it sounds amazing man.. i got crabs but havent done the FPU yet. i want this sound!!

  • @kylefife91 Thanks, I miss this car a little. Oh well, I had fun with it.

  • is there a res delete or did you just to the shop and have them throw up the 80 series and tips?

  • @kylefife91 No res delete. Everything is stock except the muffler back to the tips. Then the CRAB intake Box and K&N filter on my Injen intake. haha

  • you didnt have problems with back pressure or anything?? no lag? any performance gains from this exhaust?

  • @kylefife91 Nope. No problems whatsoever. Performance gains, I couldn't tell you for sure, I never had it dynode or anything, however, I did feel an increase in torque from a stop.

  • where did you get the bumper?? haha

  • @bigmacs9396 AIT Racing (dot) com

  • so to clear things up all you had was the 80 series muffler 3.5" tips... what was the pipping from the muffler to the tips?

  • @kylefife91 3"

  • Hi, just went to my local custom exhaust shop, and I want to mimic what you have. So ALL you have is the flowmaster 80series muffler with the custom piping and 3.5" piping?

  • @SEJcreative Yep, 80 series, 2 30* angled tips and custom piping. Everything else was stock.

  • @markpetersonii Awesome. Thanks a lot. Sounds incredible, and fairly affordable. You don't happen to have a part number for the flowmaster though do you?

  • @SEJcreative Yeah, it's 42583. Just google "flowmaster 80 series Camaro"

  • @markpetersonii Sweet, I just wanted to double check because that's exactly what the shop pulled up on their inventory. Thanks again man!

  • @SEJcreative No problem! Hope all goes well.

Check out Forever Pontiac (dot) com, it a forum for all Pontiac owners and you can get some more great info on there.

  • @markpetersonii what's the "cut at 30*" mean in your description. I want to present as much info as possible.

  • @SEJcreative Oh, that's the angle of the tips, the were 3.5" with a 30 degree(*) angle.

  • @markpetersonii Oh I see, got it. Again thanks. Really excited to do this to my G6.

  • Hey mark did you have your CRABS in this vid?

  • @BMc121705 Yes, I did.

  • so a rear diffuser does what to a FWD car?

  • @ChickenCritters It's for looks, not functionality. This car was built for show not function.

  • dude, this is sick, I want to order some for my 08' g6 gt, how much was the full cost of the product, + welding and all? thanks bro.

  • @pr0cl1v1ty It was maybe $350 at most. Most of the money was the custom welding and exhaust job.

  • lol mean is a figure of speech where i come from but it cool the headers were for the 3.6 take care

  • @broncosbbeatinu1 ah, ok.

  • damn bro your shit sounds pretty good if you looking for some pretty mean headers i seen some on milzy motorsports good stuff tho

  • @broncosbbeatinu1 Thanks, I don't own this car anymore though. Also, there anrent any headers made for this engine. I had the LZ4 not the LX9. Btw, what exactly makes headers "mean?" You should work on your grammar. ;)

  • What rear bumper is this?

  • @SgtMustang That is the AIT Racing rear bumper, custom painted.

  • Nice. Now lets hear how it sounds under load inside the car.

  • @jazzman3071 If that were possible I would but I sold the car. I can tell you that there was no drone and it was a nice deep sound that you could hear.

  • Hey is this without the resonator, I saw another vid with the same setup with an 80 series as well but it sounded alot deeper, idk. I'm thinking of doing this to my g6 too.

  • @DoYouKnowDaMuffinMan No the resonator is still in there. I think you should do this. It's probably one of the best exhaust mods out there!

  • I have been listening to G6 exhausts all night ... this is one of the best ... This is what Im getting !

  • @EJFXxx Awesome! It's a great exhaust, I loved it!

  • i know you say STOCK exhaust.... but did you remove the resonator? i put a magnaflow on now im thinking i should of went with flow master.. ill get a video up soon

  • @joedevin Nope no Res delete.

  • Did you put a diff rear bumber on you G6? if so how much did it cost

  • @ilovecds112 Yeah, I had the full AIT Racing kit with the CF Hood. Just check out their site and you'll find it.

  • understandable. I was just making sure because I am very interested in doing the same. how much did everything cost you all together?

  • @mrgreengimp I'd say less than $300 for everything.

  • hey, so is this the G6 GT? Stock only had one exhaust tip

  • @mrgreengimp No. Listen to the vid again, I said it's a "2007 Pontiac G6 V6 Base Sedan." You're right, the GT did not have dual exhaust. This was completely custom.

I'm pretty sure I know my own car though, I didn't need you to tell me that they only had one tip.

  • nice exhaust!!! I'm looking at getting one for my g6 as well...i don't like how the GT-R exhaust sounds. My question is this, did you go a shop to get this installed or did u do it yourself? if you did it yourself where did you get the pipes that go from the muffler to the exhaust tips? Thanks in advance!

  • @Snooster17 Done at a shop. Pipes were custom done by the shop.

  • It sounds ok... yeah just ok....

    -jgp21

  • @MrAirMax360 Haha thanks!

  • thats not too bad at all. You have the 3.5L V6 right.

  • Yes, the 3.5L VVT V6
