hello everyone what he says works just dont bother using firefox if you dont want to you can do it with intenet explorer just go to control panel, internt options, connections,lan settings then enter in your proxy code from hidemyass and eveything will work much simpler than going through firefox no flash probems either like when i tried it through fiefox

for mac users, don't try this with safari settings. it's useless with proxies, download firefox for mac and do what the uploader showed you on video. it works like a charm :D

Found a couple of proxy servers that worked but I still couldn't watch bbc iplayer...got the usual message.."Currently BBC iPlayer TV programmes are available to play in the UK only"

Firefox is configured to use a proxy server that is refusing connections.

Worked brilliantly. Streaming BBC's awesome F1 coverage here in the states. Just need to try different UK IPs until you get one to work. Took me about 10 different addresses but now it works without a hitch.

i tried over 40 different proxy addresses and theyre always being refused...I then found one that seemed to be working but once i opened bbc i player i got the usual message that says bbc content is not available abroad...

It doesn't list the IP addresses, only lists links to the proxy sites, so I can't follow these instructions... any ideas?

Typing in the address at the proxy sites, I get the iPlayer, but I'm told I need to enable JavaScript (it already is enabled).
