oh and by the way this radio comes charged ready to use out of the box i went to charged it wen i took it out of the box and the led went green i was like oh cool it's been charged the battery life on this radio is very good

@benthebug work in menu is little coplicated, but it can learn. I recommend this radio to a beginner too... Its solid radio for low price! :)

@LEBThe3 Delivery took around 2 weeks after ordering. I still had to pay customs duty of 19% and Wouxun was mine :)

Got one of these and it is a superb little radio for the price and very presentable in looks, got mine on ebay for around the £70 mark inc post hong kong and if you like radio and want some bang for your buck this I can recommend, also for size the Puxing PX-2R will also shock in terms of bang for buck...

I have one of these babies, and I can't recommend them highly enough. Tip: get the USB cable, and use the software to set up your repeaters as channels, otherwise it's a bit of a pain to set up on the fly.

how do you programme repeater channels in? i am having a nightmare. i want to use simplex and repeaters......the software is not helping.

Thank you for replying. I have received my radio now, and I have managed so far to pick up Manchester Air Traffic Control, various local taxi services, local Ambulance service, and communications between Warrington, Runcorn, and Wales.

Aaroneus76, did you receive the radio yet? Any problems with customs? I understand this unit is US FCC compliant, so Industry Canada shouldn't have any problems with it either. I ordered one too.
