  • i will take down anybody who says something bad about scottish music and Julie Fowlis, just as a heads up, a friendly warning if you will :)

  • @MissAlbaNuadh Freeeeedom!!!

  • what a beautiful song !!! i love it!!!

is this number availible on any cd???

  • tis indeed the brilliant jenna reid from shetland.

  • Must be Jenna Reid on the fiddle, she's fantastic. We had a chance to see Julie, Jenna & two Dubliners at a show near Seattle earlier this year.

They put on an excellent show. For an encore Jule played the pipes beautifully (uabhasach math) and Jenna was on fire with her fiddle.

Julie is truely a pleasant, poised, yet humble lady. BTW: The album 'Dual' with Julie and Muireann Nic Amhlaoibh is fabulous.

  • I haven't heard this one but it's lovely.

  • yup, it's 'mi le m' uilinn air mo ghlùin' (i with my elbow on my knee) by murchadh macphàrlain (murdo macfarlane, the melbost bard). karen matheson also sings it, and you can get the words if you google the name of the song.

  • Anyone know the name of this song?

Anything with Jule Fowlis in it is destined to be amazing.
