ya know if you just put your diverter flap down you don't gotta run over the stuff you just windrowed with the mower head:) then raise it back up when you are putting your 2nd swath on it
What part of it is loud? The cutterbar, or the engine? I'm surprised Hesston still doesn't have suspension... but then again, they are the cheapest of the bunch :D
The engine is loud. Not from in the cab, but from outside.
Hesston does have suspension on their 09s. Due to their weight distribution, they actually ride better than a tractor.
Not sure how they compare dollar-wise, but the main reason we got the Hesston is for the double-conditioner. Otherwise, we'd likely have gotten a MacDon with DualDirection.
Haven't used it much yet, only about 100 acres. So far so good. It's loud. Needs suspension and more power. Has 190 Hp, but in heavy crop you can't really push it much past 18 acres/hour. Anything under 4 tons/acre you can do 25 acres/hour if the field is smooth enough (I've done it).
Was sure happy to complete an 80acre field in under 4 hours!
how much faster does the crop dry down with the dual conditioner
