this song was made by a band called the disenfranchised. they recorded a demo at studio 650 (before they tore it down) in 1999 and passed it around, with this song (Asshole) being on it. people put the song on napster and renamed it to nirvana, either the band themselves or other people file-trading. a member of the band came forward and claimed it, although he also claimed to have made the "heavy" version of the song 'opinion' which actually came to be made by a band called Slow Driver Down.

k guys ive learned how to play the song you hear now. It may sound similar but the strumming pattern does not match a Kurt strumming pattern as well as the melody does not fit where he puts his accents. they are always the same. perfect ex. would be negitive creep and school, they have the same strum to accent pattern (ya i know its not a real term but bear with me) what this guy tryed to do was put the rfus strum pattern to his own lyrics and melody (ex. da da duhhh data data duh duh da da)..
