  • i love how he celebrates aha

  • he is in Pakistan these days - Yeah!!

  • wait, what was the guys name? i don't think the announcer said it enough

  • @xcislife94 cool comment

  • The guy in Blue actually caused the wreck by swinging his butt into the other rider because he knew he was had. He should have been disqualified.

  • @TTURedRaidr no he stayed in the sprinters lane. The guy in the white came up behind the guy in the blue too close. You can see the guy in the white's arm directly behind the blue guy's arm. The guy in blue moved his butt to try to keep balance.

  • cool lol

  • Amazing finish! :D

  • the Blue guy's arm was preventing the white guy from accelerating. wow. Cheater

  • @JUSfr34k The "White guy" was making the advance, The "Blue guy" was holding a line, do you know anything about cycling?

  • i want one of those bikes! but with normal rims

  • So it counts even if you slide over the line.. Did Ozzie get silver ?

  • i wonder how much that would burn.

  • @xX6jdub9XxaaaA pretty bad. not as bad as asphalt though. 32mph on asphalt left me with a nice scar on my lower back.

  • LOOOOOOOOOOOL hi cyclist enthusiasts :D

  • hi :)

  • incredible!!!!!!!

  • haha that one guy was still clipped in

  • They were both clipped in

  • oh noes! the bike!

  • is auch ne version zu gewinnen ^^

  • haha :D

  • i love how they cross the line at 10.6

  • looks like fun when they slide over the line :D weeeee

  • so that counted?

  • Yep!

  • if i was them,

    fuck the intimidation!

i'll get a set of zipp disks,

and then put a stick in their aerospoke,

i mean only if they fuck with me.

    lol.

  • you know the guys in the video arent running aerospokes right?

  • hey, dont mind him, hes just an ignorant hipster who probably rides a leader with risers with and aerojoke in the front and a deep v in the back with spoke cards that have nothing to do with alleycats

  • don't out yourself like that man, it's unhealthy. in case you wanted to know: i run a fuji track with iro straights. alex 450's (700cc of course) with drop bars. i'm a courier, pal. sodon't go and type assuming i'm a "hipster douche. the comment i first posted was a joke. i see people running aeros like they think they're boss material. and i've seen a number of people get kicked of their bikes, fixed or not, because they were riding to close.
  • why do couriers pride themselves on riding single speeds?

    a genuine question

  • Seriously.

  • @theodigital although im not a courier, i ride fixed and single around town, as well as my road bike, mountain bike and prized track bike! :D but anyway, the main appeal of bikes like that, is, to me and everyone i know who rides them is the simplicity. for a bike that gets bashed around a lot, they are (almost) maintenance free, simple to use and are really good at accelarating. also they are much more fun once you'vre perfected your track stand. hope this helps.

  • wtf. shut up you douche!

  • and i noticed they weren't running aerospokes dumbass.

    -___-

  • Aerospokes arnt for track racing mate, for tricking or fashion is what there intended for, they made of strong plastic NOT carbon so there too heavy. when you see riders with somthing similar its most likley to be mavic mag wheels.

  • @jakey161 yea dude, theyre fucking intense.

  • i was there and it was like perkins meant it

  • Owwowoowooowowowowo

    I win!!!

  • great final

  • jason kenny is a legend look what hes achived

  • Perkins brought him off though :s

  • either bike handling sucks, or theres crummy tire adhesion on the smooth wood track. Do they bother mopping the track if its indoor, wood, and elite class facility?

  • Well, at the speed these riders are going at, its harder than normal to control because they will be tired and trying to push the other rider back, and it seems the Aussie over-pushed, taking them both down. Anyway, did Kenny win?

  • kenny did win

  • Actually, as a track racer myself, we don't ever get speed wobbles. That only occurs on things with loose wheels such as trolley wheels. In a sprint, we may reach up to 70km/h.

The wooden track is actualy quite grippy, depending on what tyres you use. The tyres the pros use are very good, but in a sharp turn like that. you can;t expect much to hold.

  • As true as that is, you have to remember they will try and bump each other to intimidate each other and make them back down. Seems both were very resiliant to the other, until they hit the floor.

  • @ThePhailedRoflcopter Holy shit 70km?

  • @ThePhailedRoflcopter any bicycle can get speed wobble, a loose headset is usually the culprit.

  • @spamm0man286

    thats not true...

  • Just so you know junior rider with gearing that is probably equivalent to your small chain-ring and half way in the middle of the cluster can cruise at 35 sprints would be at least 45km if it is flat or a track race. kids on the Australian junior u/17 restriction can sprint up to 70 km hour.

  • wow, amazing win

new style, maybe I gonne try it too NOT

    he got luck

  • new way the winn!!

  • were both fine afterwards? no collarbone broken?

  • wow what a finsh. never seen that at the velodromes i have raced at. great video

  • recorded this off Eurosport, and must have watched this about 50 times :)

  • First and great
