@RyanBraunsIsGod The mechanism is much slimmer than a traditional screw--it is a much thinner, and more open coil, so the damage to the cork is minimal. If you go all the way through with a traditional wine screw there would be debris in the wine :O!! There isn't any of that with these, and the screw pulls out easily and without any resistance because it IS all the way through... :D
