Also, as I have walked around campus, I have seen lots of signs and I have been talked to in several of my classes. I think this video is merely one vehicle being used to get the message to students. I think 5% for one medium is not bad at all. I hope this initiative works as I want to improve my writing further for graduate school and beyond!
It's an informational video, and not meant to "entertain" you!
The motto is indicating that we need to get into the spirit of writing--thus possessing the "write" attitude. It's not about being correct or "right" in writing, but in having a willingness to engage in the practice.
For the sake of the school, I hope your attitude and awareness improve about the QEP. Being re-accredited counts on it!
Well, for starters, I never said the word "entertain," in my response to this video, so there is no need for you to put the word entertain in quotation marks. Also, what do you mean "re-accredited," from 0:25 to 0:48, Yarbrough makes it seem that we never lost it, and that the audit process is a normal periodic process, one of you is wrong. Finally, if this is supposed to be an informational video, then someone better get more people to watch it, 164 out of roughly 3,600 is about 5%.
@nucifubuc8 "Re-accredited" simply means that the school is being assessed and SACS determines if the university maintains its current accreditation. I believe neither Mr123ssu nor the president is wrong. I think there is a misunderstanding on campus by the student population. NO ONE is saying we are losing accreditation.
No one was quoting you--it seemed that you required to not be bored (which implies the need to be entertained) to properly receive information. As an informational video, it is the hopes that people will watch it, but it is not required to be viewed for it to be informative. It is one of many ways that the campus has attempted to inform SSU about the details of the QEP and SACS re-accreditation.
It seems you need to receive the information about how SACS functions--schools are up for re-accreditation every 10 years, as the president explained. It is not that we have lost it, but that we need to be reaffirmed, just as all schools must. Part of that reaffirmation depends upon a knowledgeable campus community regarding the QEP. So, instead of critiquing the video, perhaps you could get more informed and help spread the word!
Your right, I am always such a critic, I will definately spread the word!

Could 2:18 to 4:08 be any more boring?
4:16, yeah she looks real enthusiastc.
"The Write Attitude," if the emphasis is on writing, then maybe we should spell "Right,," right.
5:56 to 8:52, zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz, QE-what?
