Hey, I just wondered: What is the options on the Timelapse functions? Is it only taking pictures every 10 second, or can it take pictures at 1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9,11,12 etc. seconds? Please answer! Great video by the way!

I remember reading something about not letting your battery running out while you have magic lantern installed. It will brick your camera? True, or no?

Also...if I had multiple sdcards, do I have to put the magic lantern software on each one, then everytime I swap card, I'd have to reinstall?

@Anhslaught I have not had a single problem with letting my battery die and bricking my camera. You have to make each card bootable one by one sorry a little time consuming.

cool thanks for the response. Just to make s ure. For each card I have the bootable on. Do I have to reinstall it each time I change card? Or is it just a one time thing and all I have to do is stick in the card?

Hi I have just updated my 550d to ML but seem to be missing quite a few options within the menu particuarly important to me is movie restart. any ideas what I might have done? i am running the FW off of a memory card rather than installing onto the camera

what would really help is instead of keeping a black screenin front of the camera you could actually shoot and explain... it would make it easier for ppl to understand.

@oblia25 There is not an all inclusive build you have to keep updating as they come out but if you are happy with you build then stick with it till a new build you like comes out

Hey thanks for clearing things up! I have a question, whe I have silent pictures/timelapse pictures coming out in .422, how do i convert them on a mac to jpeg or bmp? Do you know the software equivalent to 422.jpg(works only on windows)

@ravendubles You can do that but the video would only go to the monitor and not the lcd screen on ur camera you can have one or the other

@Dombowerphoto I did make the intro myself . I used Apple Motion. It is a very safe install. I have not heard of any one bricking their camera.The rack focus is for video.

There is also a file named UserGuide.pdf in the ML zip. Read it too.

Also, I'm not sure if reinstalling latest Canon firmware will remove the bootflag. Did you try it?

I think you need your own cropmarks as bmp. files because the new build does not come with cropmarks I think
