Subscribing because this is a good idea. Maybe it'll get western producers more attention, and showcase songs that tend to get overlooked. Also, I agree with AnimeonTuba, that song previews should be shorter and centered on the chorus. I find that I got a little bored if the song's beginning didn't interest me and I just skipped to the next song. I'd say about 30 second previews for the first 15, and maybe 45 seconds for the top 5.
I would say keep the previews the same length, but focus them on the chorus/refrain of the song. maybe use the time to announce important news in the vids, like releases of new vocaloids or things about the ranking, similar to what the japanese rankings do.
The length of the previews is actually something I hate about this ranking, they're all too long, and they don't really show off how the songs really sound. When I'm watching a ranking, i'd like the vids shorter and more centered around the chorus. Maybe about 30 seconds? The top 3 should be longer though, maybe not a full minute, but longer than the rest of the vids
About the previews, I, infact would not like them 1 minutes long (A third of the song usually.) In fact, I would like it better if they were shorter, and centered around the chorus rather than where the Vocaloid starts singing. I was really getting into Secret Space's chorus, and then it changed. I was like, what?!?!?! If you could just make the previews the chorus or the climax of a song, that would make me want to go listen to MANY more songs on this ranking.
