I live in Romania. I'm Swedish though... There are loads of not-so-friendly people here but having said that I also have lots of good friends who happend to be Romanians, including my girlfriend.

Italians? To be honest in Italy Rumanians are well known for being stinky. When a Rumanian come up a bus in Italy, people go away from him because of its acid smell- I am not joking, and I am not talking about Rumanian gipsies, but about rumanian normal people.

All the Romanians I know are very rude and weird. One guy at the company I work claimed there were hidden microphones recording him. Another Romanian guy at the gym taking steroids hit the manager and was taken to the police station, where they found he was an illegal and thanks God he was deported. This just reinforces what we already know!
I have a story like this. Here in New York, a Romanian working in the company was always mad. He had a big attitude, and a big accent too. He was always complaining about the rest of the co-workers and there was no way to make him happy. One day he spat a coworker on the face, just because she is black. The manager came and he spat the manager and got crazy. We called the police and he called the office "motherfuxxr". He went to jail a week, and the company would not hire a Romanian again.

I live in Romania. I'm Swedish though... There are loads of not-so-friendly people here but having said that I also have lots of good friends who happend to be Romanians, including my girlfriend.
Anyone who claims that he/she knows all about a group of people by only meeting 3-4 from that group needs to get out of there little home and start to travle. I mean, we have some comments from USA here. Do you like everyone in USA? I can say I don't...but I got friends there as well. ;)

I back the guys who say Romanians are weird and rude. They are not part of the Western culture, they are more like Turkish. (no offense intended, for the Turks I mean). I just read the comments on that video "Romania a poor country". It's true, incredible insults in Romanian from Romanians. Lots of them. People from other countries don't curse like that. We had a Romanian in class who never used deodorant. When somebody insinuated him why, he said that in Romania people don't need deodorant.

Italians? To be honest in Italy Rumanians are well known for being stinky. When a Rumanian come up a bus in Italy, people go away from him because of its acid smell- I am not joking, and I am not talking about Rumanian gipsies, but about rumanian normal people.

All the Romanians I know are very rude and weird. One guy at the company I work claimed there were hidden microphones recording him. Another Romanian guy at the gym taking steroids hit the manager and was taken to the police station, where they found he was an illegal and thanks God he was deported. This just reinforces what we already know!

I have a story like this. Here in New York, a Romanian working in the company was always mad. He had a big attitude, and a big accent too. He was always complaining about the rest of the co-workers and there was no way to make him happy. One day he spat a coworker on the face, just because she is black. The manager came and he spat the manager and got crazy. We called the police and he called the office "motherfuxxr". He went to jail a week, and the company would not hire a Romanian again.

He apologized for it pretty quick. I think he regretted him, but his instincts go the best of him. To be honest, if someone intentionally spilled water in my lap like that, I might do worse. If I could have seen the whole discussion in context, maybe I could have gotten what he was rambling about.
