J'adore cette musique et regarder jouer ces musiciens est un grand bonheur. nous les avons découvert en Avignon en 2004, et quand on a besoin de douceur ou retrouver le moral, il faut les écouter . BRAVO !!!!!!!!
Beautiful!! I was, at first, stricken by the vielle a roue without the 'roue'. In Aix, yet. I was much too entranced by your music to read comments or look up references to nyckelharpas. This is wonderful music and I'm going to order at least one CD. Thank you!!
It's very airey and mystic and yet so epic, it's very easy to imagine a rolling view of the irish landscape, like a tourist commercial or something, while this is playing.
Hello Ivan. Thank you for your kind thoughts. I'll be happy to answer any questions. It will be simpler for me if you contact me through my website (mentioned above). I'm spending the winter on an isolated island, so please be patient. All the best, James Kline
Mariusz is playing a Swedish instrument called a nyckelharpa which traces it's origins to the 14th century. That's me (Jim) playing a 19 string arch harp guitar which I invented. For more info check out our websites (mentioned above). James Kline
Bardou's Cd's can be purchased through the sites mentioned above (about this video) as well as through vgorecordings or itunes. Thank you for your interest! James Kline
