because its best to keep the fish alive as long as possible to keep it fresh before you eat it. freshly killed fish is much tastier.

wrong...salmon should be gilled and bleed as soon as you catch it...otherwize it releases chemicals in the blood that help decay it. just ask any fisherman in alaska. i would never eat a salmon from a livewell its meat would be all mushy.

lol its a blue fish. my dad and i fish in the long island sound we catch about 30 of those every time we go out. 1 isn't a big deal. We've caught 18-20 pounders which are huge. But the one in this vid isnt big.
