  • you guys gotta try this.....

    1 1/2 oz patron silver

    1/2 grand marnier

lime juice just half of one lime ...... it tastes really sexy

  • Lesbians are supposed to know how to make cocktails, but this ugly dyke sucks.

  • The most unclassic "classic" margarita!

    Rose's lime, s&s, and lime juice!?!?!?! O_o

  • why bartenders out there thinks that they can replace triple sec with Grand Marnier??? Is completely different flavor profile!!! And this recipe couldn't be more rookie...

  • flairbartender89 is right this is shit! u could use less tiple sec and therefore use splash of agave syrup

  • Using cointreay yeilds a more balance alcoholic drink because cointreau is 40% alcohol and triple sec is not the same alcohol percentage. It can range from 25-35 % Also cointreau is quality...most triple sec is just sugary bullshit.

  • ESE TEQUILA ES UNA PORQUERIA

  • this recipie is CRAP !!!

to all viewers, please don´t take this as a referance for the classic margarita; this one has nothing to do with that one.

Th classic margarita is made with :

    1.5 oz Tequila

    1oz triple sec

1oz or 3/4 oz (depending on you taste) of FRESH lime jucie (rose´s lime is just unacceptable)

  • Agreed!

  • HAHA! I agree!

Tho, when you use Patron you should use citronage. - just a tip. They did make citronage for a reason.

  • @zaphryl1015

Have you tried the citronage though? It's kind of harsh if you compare it to cointreau and gran marinier, just on it's own.

I tried making a margarita with it using the 2:1:1 ratio of tequila, orange liqueur, and lime juice... and it just doesn't taste as smoothe as if you were to use the same ratio but making it with cointreau.

Anyone else tried this or experienced this?!?

  • Triple sec = cointreau

  • aja: true, but notice how he uses nither..., just 172 an ounce of grand mariner....

  • Yeah.....you can use the grand marnier but i will always prefer cointreau

  • oh yeah, cointreau si always better than grand marnier and triple sec but sometimes it´s just better to use triple sec , just keeps it simple and "straight forward"...

  • agave sirup baby.. tommy's magarita!!

  • I'm not so keen on Grand Marnier -- I think that stuff is awful! Instead, just use half a jigger of Triple Sec, 2 ounces of Tequila, and 4 ounces of a decent Margarita mix, such as Jose Cuervos. Even a decent sweet and sour mix will do. Shake with ice and dispense into a large old fashioned glass. Use a Margarita glass when cocktail is blended in a Waring Blendor (old-style that has sharp enough blades to really puree the ingrediants). Keep it simple, and use Triple Sec!!!

  • best is to use fresh ingredients....none of the pre made bullshit...

    fresh limes, fresh lemons

  • patron is delicious. mmmmmm

  • Why he puts on limejuice, sour mix and Roses lime ?? all is souurr!!!

  • Margaritas are supposed to be sour...new school margaritas are becomming sweet (or sweeter) especially with additions like agave syrup which is a by product of the agave plant and it can be also be used as a substitute for sugar. I have seen some bartenders add a bit of sugar syrup to margaritas to cut the sourness too. Do not use roses lime cordial that stuff sucks

  • i guess he doesnt like his drinks cold because isnt it the loger you shale the colder the drink gets?

  • Good shaking method, over the shoulder like that. However, the drink shook for about 2 seconds. Um... that's hardly enough.

  • its not a martini idiot margaritas are only to be shaken a few seconds

  • do u use symple syrup for your sour mix or store bought? Also how much is 2 ounces? ty

  • 2 ounces is 2 ounces dunce!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
