My Grandma came over to the United States from Mexico when she was a young child along with her 3 sisters. They came over here around the 1930's and made the best life had to offer. My grandma had to learn English herself and assimilate into the American culture. Now a days it's nothing more then the Government catering to illegals and legals a like by supporting there lives with all these "entitlement" programs while our once great country is decaying from the inside out.
liligil we do not live in a south american dictatorship, we have something here called the rule of law, so whether you disagree or not, whether you like it or not, the president does not make law.... have a nice day =)
@Voodicus thanks for your comment and I absolutely agree with your statement. It is interesting how this memo while it does not "pass law" it implies protection for an item that has clearly been of contention with the US Senate and Congress. I am with you! and thanks for watching and for your candid comment.
As long as we can communicate effectively, all this controversy can be rectified. It is important that we take interest in each other and find beneficial education within each of our cultures, mutually. We must recognize this. In all the history of mankind there has been a cross-cultural influence in our very nature. Why should now be any different?
@gus196666 de acuerdo no ha pasado, pero el memo de Obama "parcialmente" protege al estudiante sin papeles. No se los da, pero al menos lo protege de ser deportado.
I'm glad it was rejected. I was a college student. I paid my way through college. Wanted to go out of states, but was required to pay out of state fees, so I didn't want to. I'm glad this bill was rejected. No to the dream act.
Congress voted the Dream Act down? The President does not have the authority to declare law! Obama is also overreaching in his war powers in Libya! He's not a dictator! Or is he?
Their chances were slim, but thousands of illegal immigrant teens and young adults saw their best opportunity to become United States citizens vanish on Saturday when the Senate rejected the Dream Act on a vote of 55-41, shy of the 60 supporters needed.

Obama heatedly spoke against Executive Orders during his 2008 campaign. But, of course, like most of what he said, he lied. Thatnks a lot, Democraps!

The only reasonable package of solutions for illegal immigration problem is:
1) secure the border; build the fence; stop drug and illegals trafficing on the border
2) strict visa laws for third world countries; go and arrest everyone who overstays his/her visa
3) for the illegals already here: DEPORT, DEPORT, and only DEPORT

@MrWatchdawg77 His memo doesn't pass law but partially supports what would be a DREAM act. It was rejected in December by the senate.
