but you are right about one thing Daleks have more screen time, and episodes. all big Borg storys fit in one dvd box set (Borg box) i think it has 20-25 episodes. plus the first time the heros meet the Borg is a canon mess. 2365 Picard doesn't know what a Borg is wen he meets them for the first time. 10-20 years before that the Hansen family seeks out the Borg to study them, Starfleet orders them not to and know the Borg by name!
(2) 60 years before that in 2293 Captain Kirk saves a group of aliens that run away from the Borg, they must have told Starfleet about them, one of the aliens will even work on Picards ship, so how did he not know what Borg are? it gets better. 141 years before that in 2152. a group of Borg from the 24th century is found on Earth. they Kill, asimilate, get there pictures taken. and in the end they get destroyed but still no one knows what a Borg is by Picards time the eps were made in that order
(3) Daleks on the other hand have a clear canon and origin story (Genesis of the Daleks) also Daleks really adept. once you could just push them, shoot them, run up stairs etc. now they have shilds and can fly. once you could kill one just by pushing it from the ground, witch was his energy sourch. now they have energy packs. they can self destruct. adapt to all weapons. fly back in time at will. and they have no cat suit! (yes 7 of 9 is 'hot') but Daleks are more unique.
For some reason, I have issues accepting a concrete "cannon timeline" for Daleks considering that the entire Dr Who series itself is a jumbled mess in terms of timelines. I mean hes a time traveler for goodness sake.
(1) the first ever Dalek story ('63) is set millions (i think) of years in the future on the planet Skaro. the second Dalek story is set on Earth in -i believe- the 22th century. in '89 set in 1963, the Doctor blows up Skaro. (present Skaro? if so the original '63 story cant happen) and the final Dalek story ('07) -so far- was set in the 1930s on Earth. how can this be? Daleks are time travelers too. but i guess a timeline works like this. first 'Genesis' then every Dalek story before that.

I never watched Cybermem but, from what I can tell just by looking, they are not related to the Borg. they look like different concepts, one made to look like shiny metal, the other covered in black tubes, lights, and cybernetic implants, I still love the way the Borg look in the later shows, The last episode of voyager kicked but, and the 29thn century Borg was the best.

I never saw the point in getting mad, it's better to have a conversation instead, one fan to another, one world vs another. It's entertainment, not politics. 8472 is a very good match at that, although voyagers crew did some nasty stuff with those Borg Nanoprobes, they made a bioweapon that attacked 8472 on the atomic level, you are right, the Borg never got the weapon, the crew of Voyager ended up showing the weapon to 8472 after a long ordeal that ended in peace.

FYI I watch both Star Trek and Dr Who. It has been shown the Borg's nanides could pierce a daleks armour. daleks can self-destruct but only after an order to do so. as soon as The Borg assimilate 1 dalek they'd have access to the daleks weapons info, armour info, etc and they would intergrate it into themselves

Not true. The Dr Who universe has its own god-like entities such as the White and Black Guardian, the Eternals (which can only be transferred, not destroyed), the Great Old Ones (who can rewrite reality and yes, Dr Who ripped off HP Lovecraft but they're in the show so they count). These beings, I think are on the Q level in terms of power.
As to who wins... how can one infinity be bigger than the other?

Borg drones don't fire weapons, they inject you with nanoprobes, which Daleks could not resist, assimilation tubes go through anything, even metal, on top of that, a Borg could pick up a Dalek and throw it across the room.

Drones will be useless. 3) Dalek shells (Dalekcodium-spelling?) are very powerfull, with shilds of there own, its unlikley a drone can assimilate the Dalek inside. 4) Daleks can adept to anything...maybe assimilation itself. 5) wen the Borg adept to Dalek weapons, Daleks can change frequency, the Borg cant. any Dalek-Borg war would go badly...for the Borg.

but you are right about one thing Daleks have more screen time, and episodes. all big Borg storys fit in one dvd box set (Borg box) i think it has 20-25 episodes. plus the first time the heros meet the Borg is a canon mess. 2365 Picard doesn't know what a Borg is wen he meets them for the first time. 10-20 years before that the Hansen family seeks out the Borg to study them, Starfleet orders them not to and know the Borg by name!

(2) 60 years before that in 2293 Captain Kirk saves a group of aliens that run away from the Borg, they must have told Starfleet about them, one of the aliens will even work on Picards ship, so how did he not know what Borg are? it gets better. 141 years before that in 2152. a group of Borg from the 24th century is found on Earth. they Kill, asimilate, get there pictures taken. and in the end they get destroyed but still no one knows what a Borg is by Picards time the eps were made in that order

(3) Daleks on the other hand have a clear canon and origin story (Genesis of the Daleks) also Daleks really adept. once you could just push them, shoot them, run up stairs etc. now they have shilds and can fly. once you could kill one just by pushing it from the ground, witch was his energy sourch. now they have energy packs. they can self destruct. adapt to all weapons. fly back in time at will. and they have no cat suit! (yes 7 of 9 is 'hot') but Daleks are more unique.

For some reason, I have issues accepting a concrete "cannon timeline" for Daleks considering that the entire Dr Who series itself is a jumbled mess in terms of timelines. I mean hes a time traveler for goodness sake.

(1) the first ever Dalek story ('63) is set millions (i think) of years in the future on the planet Skaro. the second Dalek story is set on Earth in -i believe- the 22th century. in '89 set in 1963, the Doctor blows up Skaro. (present Skaro? if so the original '63 story cant happen) and the final Dalek story ('07) -so far- was set in the 1930s on Earth. how can this be? Daleks are time travelers too. but i guess a timeline works like this. first 'Genesis' then every Dalek story before that.

The Borg were in an episode of "enterprise" set before Kirks time. I never watched Cybermem but, from what I can tell just by looking, they are not related to the Borg. they look like different concepts, one made to look like shiny metal, the other covered in black tubes, lights, and cybernetic implants, I still love the way the Borg look in the later shows, The last episode of voyager kicked but, and the 29thn century Borg was the best.

In the story "Revenge of The Cybermen" 1980 something the cybermen are dying out cause their home world was destoryed by the Doctor
and so capture people and turn them into Cybermen, simular to what the borg do.

I never saw the point in getting mad, it's better to have a conversation instead, one fan to another, one world vs another. It's entertainment, not politics. 8472 is a very good match at that, although voyagers crew did some nasty stuff with those Borg Nanoprobes, they made a bioweapon that attacked 8472 on the atomic level, you are right, the Borg never got the weapon, the crew of Voyager ended up showing the weapon to 8472 after a long ordeal that ended in peace.

I plan to do more in the near future -- I have some planned projects, one in the works but have not finished it...
And yes, the Borg copy the Cybermen; they developed to being something different with the "Queen" but the early Borg were Cybermen like and many stories copy elements of the Cybermen stories.
