  • I don't date black men because in general they do not treat black women/girls very well. They can be very arrogant and expect you to bend over backwards for them just because they are black men. In general, they lack respect for women and can be very disrespectful in their approach.

  • Yes amen! I stopped dating black men because of all the bs I see in a lot of them. Not all are the same, but as gardinia said, I don't relate to them. I can't be who I really am with them and a lot of their mentalities are messed up.

  • it seems like girls are caught up in the media of black men. u know the media only shows the ignoraant ppl n thats said im a black men n i know far to many good black men like me..some ppl just judge of what they see n hear

  • I don't think its taboo, but its just more you shouldn't just single out a whole group of people. You shouldn't just choose to not date someone because of their race. Just be more open, is what I think.

  • You're fine as hell and I'd date you. Black guys all seem to follow each other's fads and most of them are broke and no real plans for their careers and future. They just want to be cool and hang with their "homies".

  • I have never dated a black man and to be honest I never will. I honestly have no problem with them I just have a problem with the prevailing mentalities that I see in far too many. I have no problem getting with non black men and all the men that I have considered came after me, not the other way around. I honestly just feel like I can be myself and just relate person to person and I have never had a problem at all. I can honestly say I recommend it. Lol!

  • Preach girl! I don't date black men mainly because I find them socially retarded and they have no clue how to treat a woman.

  • @MsTricia8 You're not choosing the right men dumbass all black men are not like that...I'm an educated black man that graduated from duke university in engineering and make 45k a year does that make me socially retarded?? I worked very hard to get where I'm at now and I treat my girlfriend with love and respect that she deserves, stop generalizing...

  • I couldn't get my mind around how some women believe , majority of black men are cons, thugs, gay, uneducated.... oh well, thins out the heard for me! :)

  • @lordsmokingmirror Statistically, there are more black women attending colleges than black men, it's not about believing, it's statistical fact. I agree that doesn't make them uneducated, it just means they're not persuing college degrees, which many women place high on the list of desirable traits. Unfortunately a high percentage of black men do have troubles with the law, which means there is "some" truth to that aspect as well.

  • Date who you want to date but don't think they are better I am around them and when they think I am sleep I hear them talk I will leave it at that. But do not take this as I hate you.

    Be Safe

  • @9mmParabellum0321 Thank you for leaving me a comment. I appreciate you taking the time to write it. In my opinion, what sets men apart from one another is their Godliness, character and actions. Other than that a man is man. His skin complexion is not as important.

  • @missymistique You be safe Missymistique, and enjoy the holidays.

  • @9mmParabellum0321 Thank you!!! Happy Holidays to you too :-)

  • @missymistique Girl you are so right.

  • Well, you just described me and women think i'm handsome as well but I digress, this one race stuff is bullshit. we are different and people say that to make excuses for dating outside the race. I see nowadays everybody wants to be everything but themselves, that why IR dating, plastic surgery, skin bleaching, sex changes, kim kardashian-paris hilton wannabes are so prevelant.

  • @thety5489 Thank you so much for watching my video thety5489! I am not sure if you are religious but in the beginning of creation there was 1 man and 1 woman. We are all connected. Archeologists have already told us that the oldest human remains were found in Ethiopia, Africa. Evolutionarily speaking, everyone evolved from Black people. Teenagers need an “excuse or permission” to date. You are a grown man and can date whoever you want. Do what’s best for you and love yourself!

  • I'm Black and I don't date White guys. I prefer to date men of color. That's just my preference and I dare someone to call me racist.

    #noshame

  • @iJustHadAnEpiphany1 Thank you for watching my video iJustHadAnEpiphany1. We all like what we like for different reasons. It is all love and all good as long as us both people are a "match".

  • I think people who date others based on their race are superficial. What if their skin color changed? Would they leave you? That's shallow as hell

  • @AshasJourney Ditto!!!

  • I dnt like black guys either

  • @elleonne25 To each his own right :-)

  • I DO BELEVE THAT THERE IS ONE GOD BUT I DONT NOT BELEVE THAT WE ARE ONE RACE BUT VERY NICE VIDEO :)

  • @TheGEMBOG Thank you for watching my video TheGEMBOG! I am glad you enjoyed the video. I belive that racial categories in the U.S were created by White men in position of power to keep "others" in positions of inferiority and thereby keep us from having access to resources. Biological the human man is pratically the same. If the Swine flu mutated and decame very deadly and highly contageous many people (brown, black, white or yellow) would die because genetically we are pratically the same.

  • @missymistique *became*

  • ...

  • i agree w you 100%

  • @michelle3114 Thank you for watching michelle3114 ! I am glad to know that I am not the only woman in the world who thinks this way about dating. I appreciate your feedback :-)

  • @missymis00000000000000tique well if you date a person because he is tall, then you are superficial. i happen to be a tall guy and handsome , but there is more to me than that.

  • @niceguy4293 Hi niceguy4293! The fact that you created a youtube account just to leave me a comment makes me feel very specal. Thank you for doing that!!! I appreciate your support. And yes, I married a tall dark and handsome man. So. I do like those a lot :-)

  • @nobby481 I say date who you want to date. Date who you are attracted to, and have a meaningful connection with. I can't speak for other people’s presentation but for me: to be able to find love is a blessing so it is important to open one’s mind and heart to all the possibilities.

  • i definitely agree. Every one has their own taste in what they like in a man...black white asian etc. tall short same height... it shouldn't even matter what race or what you look like when it comes to "true" love...

  • @MissCheviD Yes, when it comes to “True Love”, all bets are off! Love has a mind of its own. You like what you like. I feel sorry for White guys who love Black women but are afraid to admit it because of society’s pressures or vice versa. Embrace love. It is good for the soul. We all need love.

  • @missymistique yeah.. i know right! i think its sad that ppl are to worried what others are going to say or think of them.

  • I think a huge assumption to make, is to exclude a man based on his color, height, etc. I believe you should have an open mind and open heart, but to consciously exclude a person based on color, etc., is crazy, whatever the color. I know this doesn't apply to you, just commenting.

  • @jusBcuz01 Love is love. Love it great! If you can find it in this world full of hate. You are blessed. If it is true and it is good, I say go for it. Who cares?

  • I agree. I used to date men of any race. But honestly I feel like my own is in danger of extinction due to incarceration, gay, influenced by "gang" violence on t.v., etc. I learned SO MUCH about my own race this year (not what happened in the past, I'm talking about the stuff going on NOW as we speak). So I'm down with the black men. That's my opinion, but the "extinction of race" part is 100% fact that you see and hear about everyday.

  • @NapturalJas Mexican people are going to be the new majority in the U.S as of 2050. Did you know that? The U.S population is shifting drastically will all of the muti-cultural experiences this brings about; I am convinced that most people in the U.S will be brown sooner rather than later...

  • Um, this video is confusing. Are you joking and trying to be funny? I watched the video until the very end and I see you wrote that you married a black man. So obviously, you are not biased against all black men. However, I am not sure where you are going with this video.

  • @rainbowbrite621 Brilliant observation! This is a video response to another video on youtube entitled "Why I Don't Date Black Man" by Orewriter. I am making several points in this video about why Black women need to explore their options when it come to men in general. Who cares? I fell in love with my husband not because of how much melanin is in his skin is but rather because of the "spirit being" inside his body. He is an incredible man!!!

  • PS I WILL NEVER DIE EVEN IF THE BLACK WHITE MAN'S WHORE TRYING TO KILL ME REAL CHOCOLATE SKIN BLACK MAN IS THE SON OF GOD.

  • @MaybachMusicBOSS99 Did you even watch the video??? Please watch it BEFORE leaving feedback. It will make more sense after you see it. Plus, you won't be so angry afterwards :-)

  • @MaybachMusicBOSS99 ALL of creation was made by God. Get your mind right!

  • I love your channel! I also respect your views because they are unbiased. But this time, girl I had to chime in...LOL. Based on what you said @ 3:28, your title is contradictory. I TOTALLY agree w/dating a person based on inner and not outer. But I don't agree that MOST black men are incarcerated, gay or with child. In other neighborhoods and surroundings, there are white men who fit the bill as well. I do feel there is a shortage of black men, but won't stereotype my own.

  • @damali1971 Thank you for watching and supporting my videos. Here is the data on black incaceration rates "More than 846,000 black men were incarcerated in 2008, according to U.S. Bureau of Justice estimates reported by NewsOne. African Americans make up 13.6 percent of the U.S. population according to census data, but black men reportedly make up 40.2 percent of all prison inmates". Crazy huh?

  • @missymistique By the way, I am sorry for the misundestanding. I said "some" Black men are incacerated and "some" black men are gay. Obviously, most black men are not incacerated or gay. I thank God for that!

  • @damali1971 THE SOCALLED 'SHORTAGE' of black men is caused by these types of hate videos. BW don't like men lumping THEM all in one skin color so why do they do it to their men? Black women started the gender war with their mouths and they continue to attack. Black men have serious options and bw are yet to see how America regards them but soon they will see. No wonder black boys are in trouble, their own mothers hate them.

  • @LISTENtotheMANofGOD Are you saying that your mother hated you? If so, I am sorry that this was your upbringing. I think that there is a real shortage of elligible black men and the statistics prove that. Did you know that 40 % of Black females are single? They are many Black women who are raising Black children ALONE. You have NO idea what it takes for a Black woman to raise a Black Boy in America ALONE. These are some STRONG women!!!

  • @missymistique how do you know that I have "NO idea" what it takes? Haven't I watched bw raise children? Haven't I counseled them as well? That's so presumptuous of you to talk down to black men as if they are all ignorant. That explains why 40% are single too. Who wants to be told they know NOTHING when they know something? Really though.

  • @LISTENtotheMANofGOD Two things #1 observing a situation or being told about it does not mean that you KNOW what it is like to be IN that situation. Example, I counsel gay youths who are suicidal. Does that mean that I KNOW what it’s like to be a gay person in America who feels so hated that they want to take their own life? ummm....I doubt it! #2. There is only one God and he created all humans. We are all brothers and sisters. “Race” should be a secondary consideration when choosing a mate.

  • @missymistique There's only one God and that is God the Father of our Lord and savior Jesus Christ. There is no race mentioned in the Bible except for the kind you run with your feet. So "Race" should never be a consideration, but faith in the Lord Jesus should. The Bible tells believers to not marry UN-believers. AMEN

  • Great vid. As long and the couple is happy I am happy for them. My cousin married outside her race and they are great together.

  • @chocolatechild72 Thanks for watching! you got the point of this video :-)
