i am a HUGE fan of melanie moore. She is the female Billy Bell. Str8 sick with her work (dancing). She deserved to win America's best dancer. I wanted her to win from the time i saw her audition in ATL. She always received positive feed back on the show (expect for once wh/ was in hip hop). She was born with her talent. PURE EXCELLENCE AND PERFECTION

you just point your toes and try to best your weight on the front of your foot, just below your toes..

@RenesmeeandJake2008 Its called toe stand or toe walking. Stand on the back of your feet, right below the "ankles" of your toes. You really need flexible feet. It doesn't hurt me and some people. BUT if it hurts.... don't do it. If it hurts, you aren't meant to do it. Although you can train yourself to be able to do it. Don't over do it.

She is the 1st and ONLY dancer since this show started that I watched at her 1st audition and thought "damn....she's going to win..." and I don't mean simply that she is an incredible technician-she is just beautiful, inside and out, and that shines so brightly when she dances. :)

She does it all so effortlessly, I don't even think I've seen ballerinas dance like that. I wish I could interview her. @darlinglisa7 She really is. I'm still stunned, How is she so good?! How is it possible to be so unearthly amazing like that?! I recently went to the tour in my hometown and it was even more incredible in person. One guy screamed "My God Marry Me!" during her solo. I've never seen someone like her..she's like Travis Wall to me, I can watch their solos forever! Travis might be my fave guy for sytycd and shes my fave girl!

AMAZING. All her solos were so different, and didn't look like she was just cramming a bunch of tricks in there...BUT she did have SO MANY amazing things, but it just was true dancing from the heart. That's why she was my favorite. Does that make any sense? haha

She is phenomenal... her initial audition was so beautiful and moving.

It makes me wish that I had taken up dancing when I was younger... but at the age of 23, I fear that it's too late to begin... I know it's something most start very young.

I admire anyone who can dance (TRULY dance, that is)- the physical strength and control are incredible. It really is exquisite to watch.

How dare anyone say that she didn't deserve to win...i've been looking at a lot of videos and people are commenting on how she wasn't challeneged....NOT TRUE. She was given an aray of styles. But even when she did her style, contemporary, she was a BEAST at it and America connected to it. If other dancers only got comtemporary all season long, i still beleive Melanie would have been the best at it since she just has a essence of her that silences the room. She is wonderful. I'm so happy she won.

@jodalita Actually, I'll reply to that. Look on wiki. She was given LOADS of Contemporary and Jazz, but she was given Hip Hop twice, Tango, Viennese Waltz, Disco and Broadway, specifically. Not much else on the show she could have gotten this season... This season wasn't good for diverse genres. I really wish people would stop downplaying her victory this season. She deserved it. And obviously it is a minority of people who believe otherwise because... she got the majority of votes.. and won!

@iswhatever She most definitely deserved it. The problem was not her, but the producers' decision to not challenge as they should've. I'm confident she would've performed well had she been given the oppotunity; they just never tested her in other styles.
