@PaintedRavensong Thanks for the kind words. This year was nice with the big news coming out from NY there was something extra in the air. Sarasota will be having there Pride on Oct 22, 2011. We will be there.

I live in orlando and we dont have a parade until October. The date was changed a few yrs ago because of the hot climate, as if oct was any cooler than june. Anyway, its weird because pride celebration is to be continued.... Until october
@enirsha hehe...Yeah, Oct and June here in FL are pretty much the same. I know that in other parts of the country, Pride is also in October to coincide with Nat'l Coming Out Day. Well, have fun in Oct!
@OhCurt Yes, at least three blocks. On the St. Pete pride page on Facebook (one of them...I think there are two) they actually have an aerial shot and it truly is amazing. I could only hold my camera up so high (and my arm is killing me today!). It was my first official pride event (that wasn't a film festival) and I had a blast. The parade was so cool!!!!
