I'm not quick to call anyone a racist, but, race seems to matter to you much more than it should. I've never viewed race as an impediment. Good manners dictates that one assume the best of a person in the absence of knowledge. While "not Mexican latino, latino latino" might well be offensive, I would first allow that he meant American latino, handsome, Mario Lopez latino. I myself think that Mario Lopez ought to be the standard for admission to the US, If you look as good then you get in, if not, tough.

I'm a multiracial (white/black/native) female and while I've been attracted to men of almost every race, I tend to date either white or hispanic males.

I think that people feel more comfortable w/people w/backgrounds/cultures that are similar to their own or are familiar/interesting to them. While its not racist to not be sexually attracted to people with certain characteristics, you may have negative feelings toward differences of others that you need to consciously address.

Having a preference for white men does not make one a "Sexual Racist." I'm a white female and I have black friends and I like black music, but I am not sexually attracted to black men AT ALL. If you don't date someone based on there ethnicity, that does make you racist. There is something underlying your "sexual preference" to just say "all black men are unattractive". Maybe your just sexually attracted to light skin. Either way, you're subconsciously discriminative in your love life which means you don't have many options. I'm a white guy who has dated a couple of black men. I remember my first dating relationship with an African American. We broke up and remained friendly. Afterward, I got hit on by a lot of black men at the one large gay club in my city. They had seen me there before with my black boyfriend. When I declined they would say, "I thought you were 'into' black men." I hate that mindset. I've never been "into" black men, but when I meet a black guy I like and connect with, then I'm all for it.

You don't sleep with women because of natural preference.
