This Video prompted me to buy my first cd; Britny Fox ! I also purchased their Laser Disc. I was stationed in the UK when this came out in 1989. This Epic Video is my all time Fave.

I find it really kind of ironic that certain people hate on Britny Fox simply because of their image. There is no denying these guys are top-notch, kick-ass musicians. Most of the ignorant fucks talking shit on here couldn't even play close to the level of these guys. I suppose if they came out and played with their heads shaved and in their Fruit of the Looms, that would make all the haters happy.

Who the hell did the booking for that night? WTF?

So needless to say, the minute Britny Fox took the stage they were booed and heckled nonstop. It was hilarious!

The moment, I'll never forget was when the lead guitarist after finishing a guitar solo, threw his guitar pick to the crowd, someone caught it and threw it right back into the guitarist face. LOL

I LOVE this era of music but yea, Britny Fox wasn't exactly the best. But the chick at 1:53, DAMN. I was probably 13 when this came out and I think she's as hot now as I did then.

More like Goon school! Clear evidence of why the hair metal era died. Whereas bands like Ratt were great and sounded refreshingly original when they came out, these guys just sound like another knockoff of Cinderella plus a million other bands, same riffs, same silly fretboard tapping stolen from Van Halen years earlier. Sorry, but Britny Fox looks like a SNL parody of a cheesewad era that died for a reason. I'm embarrassed for them but you can't blame em for trying to get out of their day jobs!

ha ha. I'll admit I'd rather listen to this than most of what's on the radio nowadays but that's more a reflection of how terrible music is nowadays than how good Britny Fox was. At least they set out to just make fun music though. I can appreciate that. To each his own. There was just a lot of great music in the 80's like Def Leppard, Scorpions, Dokken, Guns N Roses, etc. so it's easy to point out groups that couldn't touch those great bands. I also loved Y&T. God I miss those days. :)

bmp1213, to answer your question, I stumbled upon this post through the links to the right. I didn't mean to be mean with my brutally honest critique. I actually like a few of Britny Fox's later songs but "Girlschool" is just hideous. It's contrived and sterile, everything rock shouldn't be! But I love great 80's hard rock! There was some awesome music from that era that has stood the test of time unlike this one. That's all man. Of course I respect all other views which are equally valid.

@Vegas01973 Not the band's fault entirely. The music industry found a formula that worked, and if a band wanted to make it at all, they had to fit that formula. Most of the hair bands of the 80's were derivative of some other band. It's just the way it was.

@stellastarr69 I like some of their songs. To answer your question, I believe I came across this video while watching another one. I didn't look specifically for it just to review it. Every decade has good music & bad music but you have to admit that a lot of those guitar-tapping solos sound a little silly & dated now whereas Nirvana still sound current twenty years later due to all the bands they influenced. I hated grunge when it came out and have never bought a Nirvana CD. Just being honest.
