we all need to send a powerful message to the currpopted people in wash. vote them all the hell out!!! get rid of obamas czars(all communists) and vote for constitution party. chuck baldwin said he would close the borders obama is hell bent on a health care i say the borders are most priority, and our economy,
Some people attack the Constitution Party platform but they were willing to vote for someone on the Republican platform. Hmmm... I seem to recall some issues discussed on this years republican platform conflicting with the views of RP. I believe in voting for the candidate not the party. Otherwise I would feel obligated to vote for Bob Barr though he has a terrible record on the issues.
I'm still writing in Ron Paul since Baldwin's platform is unacceptable to me. Ron Paul can't ask for anybody to write him in and remain at all effective inside the party, but I think everybody who does so pays him an honor. NH is not one of those states where a candidate needs to apply to be a write-in candidate, all votes count.
Chuck Baldwin runs on a theist platform. Ron Paul does not. And whether a vote for RP counts depends on your state. There are websites out there that list all 50 states and the relevant rules - check it out.
Please cite evidence of your claim that he is from a theist platform. I am sure the only thing you can cite are his personal religious beliefs and his occupation. That is not fair to judge someone on either of those 2 things. He believes in the CONSTITUTION, which enforces FREEDOM of religion. He's stated this publically so I am not sure where you are getting your information.
Yes, the constitution makes mention of "creator" several times. They "the party" believes in the "creator". Therefore, remaining true to the constitution and our country's history. That does not mean it's theism. That means they value our country's history, and believe the same things our founding fathers believed. That does not discount freedom of religion. It's a choice of what you believe. That is very lame excuse to not vote for Baldwin.
"This great nation was founded, not by religionists, but by Christians; not on religions but on the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
The goal of the Constitution Party is to restore American jurisprudence to its Biblical foundations and to limit the federal government to its Constitutional boundaries.
The U.S. Constitution established a Republic rooted in Biblical law, administered by representatives who are Constitutionally elected by the citizens."
Yes........again, we are going back to HISTORY, it has nothing to do with limiting religious freedom. Our laws were based on the 10 commandments and basic morality, hence "biblical law". Again...you've got no argument or reason to NOT vote for Baldwin. Same exact thing Ron Paul believes...I shouldn't really say "believes" because choosing to not belief factual history would be somewhat retarded.
No, they were based on 17th and 18th century political philosophy, i.e. Locke, Rousseau, Montesquieu, Smith, which is why it was unique in the all world - the rest of the western world had governments based on religions. Thomas Jefferson himself wrote a version of the Bible devoid of mysticism.
indeed Thomas Jefferson did....and its one hell of a book!!!! I never could rationalize the miracles and mystical stories.....and reading Thomas Jefferson's, The Life and Morals of Jesus of Nazareth, helped make my spiritual journey more focused!!!!
If Thomas Jefferson wanted to have written in the words Jesus Christ he would have....but he did'nt...I believe this to be purposeful, so as not to infringe on anyone's religious or spiritual beliefs......
I mean most of them were Masons and one could make a strong argument that Masons are not Christians or "christ" like!!!!
This is why a good Libertarian Party organization will pick and choose which races to submit people to run for. In NC our local Libertarian Party looked at several races carefully and chose not to run anyone against BJ Lawson because we didn't want to hurt his chances. In NC either the Presidential or Gubernatorial Candidate has to win 2% in the general for the party to maintain ballot status. I am all for rouge Demopublicans who are really undercover Libertarians as a strategy.
I called balwin's party a few months back and did get info aboout his name being on ballots for some states and that you could add his nme and vote for him if it wasn't
Love the media control... I had to surf through about 10 to 15 videos before I actually found a Ron Paul... and I searched for Ron Paul... lots of wrestling crap and UFO garbage... can you say utube spamming... California has just authorized Dr. Ron Paul as a write in... just one state.. but a big one.. this should spread like wild fire... GO RON PAUL
unpopular Baldwin/cp stances are the real hiccup, however im doubtful that abortion could ever be rendered an illegal activity in the US, might just lose its fed funding(?).
all relevant, but not compared to stances on nafta/nato/UN, federal reserve/patriot act, etc.
Baldwin has the strength to do battle with these entities, so i think he is an excellent choice.
I love Ron Paul, and follow just about everything he says, but I can't vote for Chuck Baldwin/ and the CP platform...just too religious for me (oddly their platform is "unconstitutional" regard intent...founding fathers sought to escape religious zealousy). While I think Bob Barr is horrible choice for the LP, that's the platform I am voting for too! (not the man, but the platform).
Actually per the first Amendment the Constution was meant to PROTECT religious liberty, not escape all Christian influence in govt. The CP and Baldwin respect those whom do not believe as they do becuase they respect your right to NOT believe in God, (Christian God) or whatever else you believe in because OF the 1st Amendment.
All they do is recognize our history that we were founded by majority Christian men, and that the US Const was based both on rational thought and Christianity.
Rather than lecture me on the first Amendment, why don't you check "Separation of Church and State".....
The CP's platform has the word "divine" in it, so I am out on that! It is super simple, only like 7 platform positions, and I think "divine" is used twice!
Bottom line, that kind of platform is going to isolate alot secular folks....so the party is essentially dead until they change their Mantra!
First check the US Constitution: there is no so called "seperation of church and state"..with all respect!
Also I am not trying to turn you off or isolate you, however there is a video I have seen where Baldwin basically says he RESPECTS secular people though he disagrees with their religious belifs, that as President hes doens't deal with Religion other than the fact he would be responsible to make sure that our first Amendment rights are protected.
You need to read more carefully, did I say "Separation of Church and State" appears in the constitution? NO...I didn't...
I said "why don't you check .......".
I'll save you the trouble (you might not have good research skills, though it's rather easy hint:"wiki")....Thomas Jefferson is credited with making the case for US matters!
Baldwin is a nice guy, no doubt, I just don't like the CP platform....end of story...and I explained why! enough already!
The two party option given to us by MSM is nothing more the Hegelian Dialectic Struggle in action. The simple mind control technique that is used on us time and time again with much success.
I was with my friend when she asked in person if we could write him in in Rhode Island. He said he would accept our votes. Just because he endorsed Baldwin, I'm still flipping a coin to decide either Baldwin or Ron Paul inside the polling booth. Why? I don't agree with everything Baldwin says but I do agree with everything Ron Paul says. Also, a Ron Paul write in vote count will show much more weight in the statistics because Ron Paul was such a significant factor in this election.

IF somehow a 'sanctity of marriage' act was passed, it would just be someone elses roe vs wade, eventually it would not matter b/c..
A. 16amendment repeal income tax incentive with relation to marriage
B. a repeal of this marriage bill itself?
C. something very much like marriage, called 'something' union for same sex couples (see A.) or allow same tax incentives for this type union.
should be in hands of church, not state.
