Some people attack the Constitution Party platform but they were willing to vote for someone on the Republican platform. Hmmm... I seem to recall some issues discussed on this years republican platform conflicting with the views of RP. I believe in voting for the candidate not the party. Otherwise I would feel obligated to vote for Bob Barr though he has a terrible record on the issues.

I'm still writing in Ron Paul since Baldwin's platform is unacceptable to me. Ron Paul can't ask for anybody to write him in and remain at all effective inside the party, but I think everybody who does so pays him an honor. NH is not one of those states where a candidate needs to apply to be a write-in candidate, all votes count.

Chuck Baldwin runs on a theist platform. Ron Paul does not. And whether a vote for RP counts depends on your state. There are websites out there that list all 50 states and the relevant rules - check it out.

That is not fair to judge someone on either of those 2 things. He believes in the CONSTITUTION, which enforces FREEDOM of religion. Yes, the constitution makes mention of "creator" several times. They "the party" believes in the "creator". Therefore, remaining true to the constitution and our country's history. That does not mean it's theism. That means they value our country's history, and believe the same things our founding fathers believed. That does not discount freedom of religion. It's a choice of what you believe. That is very lame excuse to not vote for Baldwin.

Yes........again, we are going back to HISTORY, it has nothing to do with limiting religious freedom. Our laws were based on the 10 commandments and basic morality, hence "biblical law". Again...you've got no argument or reason to NOT vote for Baldwin. No, they were based on 17th and 18th century political philosophy, i.e. Locke, Rousseau, Montesquieu, Smith, which is why it was unique in the all world - the rest of the western world had governments based on religions. Thomas Jefferson himself wrote a version of the Bible devoid of mysticism.

This is why a good Libertarian Party organization will pick and choose which races to submit people to run for. In NC our local Libertarian Party looked at several races carefully and chose not to run anyone against BJ Lawson because we didn't want to hurt his chances. In NC either the Presidential or Gubernatorial Candidate has to win 2% in the general for the party to maintain ballot status. I am all for rouge Demopublicans who are really undercover Libertarians as a strategy.

unpopular Baldwin/cp stances are the real hiccup, however im doubtful that abortion could ever be rendered an illegal activity in the US, might just lose its fed funding(?).

Baldwin has the strength to do battle with these entities, so i think he is an excellent choice.

I love Ron Paul, and follow just about everything he says, but I can't vote for Chuck Baldwin/ and the CP platform...just too religious for me (oddly their platform is "unconstitutional" regard intent...founding fathers sought to escape religious zealousy). While I think Bob Barr is horrible choice for the LP, that's the platform I am voting for too! (not the man, but the platform).

Actually per the first Amendment the Constution was meant to PROTECT religious liberty, not escape all Christian influence in govt. The CP and Baldwin respect those whom do not believe as they do becuase they respect your right to NOT believe in God, (Christian God) or whatever else you believe in because OF the 1st Amendment.

All they do is recognize our history that we were founded by majority Christian men, and that the US Const was based both on rational thought and Christianity.

The CP's platform has the word "divine" in it, so I am out on that! It is super simple, only like 7 platform positions, and I think "divine" is used twice!

I was with my friend when she asked in person if we could write him in in Rhode Island. He said he would accept our votes. Just because he endorsed Baldwin, I'm still flipping a coin to decide either Baldwin or Ron Paul inside the polling booth. Why? I don't agree with everything Baldwin says but I do agree with everything Ron Paul says. Also, a Ron Paul write in vote count will show much more weight in the statistics because Ron Paul was such a significant factor in this election.
