If anyone owns a GM car with OnStar, you get to talk to a real person. You can talk to them about anything from directions to just shooting the sh*t. It's a great service.

In most cases I give them the "Push 1 for English" and then I do nothing. The system will repeat the 2nd command or set of options a few more times (maybe) and then become confused, flustered and/or frustrated. Then, more often than NOT, will hear, to effect, "You are being transferred to the next service representative!" Voila! If it's not the right department they'll connect/transfer you.

I've been doing it for a number of years, and as I said, more often than not still applies, at least here in Wisconsin. I agree there are a lot of systems that will just disconnect if no action is taken on your part. Sorry for any confusion from the post.
